How are you brother? I am thinking of starting my own channel on trucking. I am a flatbed truck driver of two years. How are you doing with your channel? Are you monetized?

- Input Tractor Number - Pick fuel type - DEF optional (Always keep it topped off because often fuel stations are out of DEF that way you don't run out of DEF and you pull up to a station that's out of DEF) - Driver/Employee ID - Trip Number (potentially optional, can input load number) - "Hub" Number AKA Mileage on tractor - Remove fuel nozzle, insert into gas tank opening and lift the lever on the fuel pump, now that the main pump you put your card into is pumping fuel into your drivers side tank, walk to the passenger side tank and insert the nozzle from the satellite (secondary) pump into your gas tank

Never worry about the guys trying to trash talk you for going down slower than THEY think you should. It's way better to be the guy they make fun of on the CB than to be be the guy they tell the crash-story about at the coffee counter. ALWAYS REMEMBER: You can go down the hill 1000 times too slow and be able to try again next trip, but you may only get ONE time to try going down too fast.
@rritchie251717 күн бұрын
as a 3rd generation professional truck driver with 4 decades of experience, I have to say you missed a few vitals in your tutorial. With no engine brake I would advise going down MUCH slower than the posted truck speed when loaded. You should never allow your brakes to be so hot that you can't come to a complete at any time if needed. In some cases, this may require you to creep down the shoulder with your 4 way flashers on. Keeping your brakes cool enough to come to a complete stop also gives you the option of actually stopping and letting your brakes cool before continuing down a long grade. In the years before engine brakes were common you would often see trucks doing exactly that on long grades. Also use your manual engine fan if that is available on your truck. This will help keep your engine speed down quite a bit. Not as good as a jake but every little bit helps.

Simple explanation ..he is clutching out of gear because under heavy load full throttle...you wont get that gear shifter out of gear....its basically locked in until he lets off the fuel pedal....and you dont want to let off because you will lose a lot of momentum and slow way down...and thats nooooo good mane.
