How long do you leave the page open to dry? Always figured oil takes too lomg to dry to live in a sketch book..

(Slaps hand on forehead)... I could have done this in PS and print it out on canvas! I guess painting has a certain rootsy-ness to it... like..."OOO see what I done"!

What's cool about the fact that not many people know of this artwork that blew your channel up means that, you've been consistently creating better and better content year-by-year... that you keep out-'blowing' your own contents, and you're not just a one hit wonder... always love your work man

If you have not done so then please make the switch to a lead white(Rublev or Ohld Holland) or Gamblin's Flake white replacement. It is a no brainer way to not worry about the chalky aspect of other whites. Tran Red Oxide and lead white is a terrific combo. As usual great job on the videos.

I just finished my first serious graphite sketchbook after 13 months yesterday. It was a huge thing for me to flip through it myself and see how much I improved since I started traditional last April. I haven't gotten to starting traditional painting yet, but seeing this sketchbook was amazing. I generally spent more on single mechanical pencil or regular pencil portraits than how much you spent on these paintings. I have such a long way to go, but the progress feels really nice! Incredible work as always!
