I'll be moving apartments in january and this is 100% going to be my first dessert there..and my second, and by my third time I might get curious about customizing just slightly but thank you for the excellent video and excellent recipe. the texture in that crumbshot looks reminiscent of my favorite bagels with the perfect slight translucency and sheen, plus the variation of airiness and dense chewy gluten development - I think you get where I'm going with this analysis, but I digress lol I'm super excited to start the oven off right 😋

This is eerily similar to my inner monologue when when tearing a recipe to shreds in order to make it "better". I mean...I usually get there in the end. LOL

I am with you 100 per cent, Carla. Probably not as helpful for people elsewhere, but in Australia we use fly spray to remove the adhesive from stickers.

Any apple based scrumptious goodness is always good with coffee ...but re: equipments Cheaply made, overpriced/marked up mortars can piss off - Just make the walls thicker, idiots.

i prefer putting 3 kernels to let it pop first. then i turn off the heat and dump the kernels in and stir, so that they can absorb heat. only need a few seconds, then turn back on the heat. there are some darkened kernels usually, but haven't had the popped ones burn that way.

Big Ball Energy with this one. Didn't have pork so next time I'll make sure I do because one as all beef these are phenomenal. I honestly feel like I have some sort of super power now that this meatball sitch is in my repertoire.

Oh yes the extra handful or 2 because there may not be enough to feed everybody-a sin beyond redemption! Beautiful collection of pasta meals. You cook like I like to cook! Garlic and spice usage increases over time, right?

My sister and I talk about this all the time. Permanent stickers are so tedious to clean. Korean products are great at this because I believe their recycling system is much more strict so labels need to be removed before dropping plastics/glass jars, which is why you see them use removable stickers often (correct me if I'm wrong).

Seems to be just US and countries associated with it that use volumes to measure mostly dry ingredients. Even King Arthur were guilty of this but have noticed that most of their recent recipes use weight instead. Weights are standard, volume definitely isnt.

Might have to give this one a try. Usually i just use some of my leftover belgian waffle dough/batter, use a grater on some apples, squeeze out most of the juice, and stir it into the batter, then deep fry that. Never had a problem with them not being crispy or not having enough apple.
