Teslas camera system is NOT a good idea or better than XPENG etc. did you know you CANT wear sunglasses or a hat pulled low and use FSD in a Tesla. It will not work. Many people NEED sunglasses when driving, some even medically. So to trade in the supposed “safety” of FSD for the safety of cutting down on blinding glare is a terrible forced option. I will not buy a Tesla as long as it forces you to NOT use sunglasses or a hat to use FSD. I paid for it 6 years ago and still can’t fully use it. The “nanny” cam is invasive and dangerous. I guess no one with sunglasses can use it… genius idea anywhere there is sun which is EVERYWHERE! Please do a video on teslas demand in order to use FSD, you can’t use safety glasses or a hat to block blinding sun Thanks

I've had an order on the Cybertruck since 2019, dual motor and was offered the Foundation Series a few weeks ago, which I turned down due to high price. I need dual motor due to where I live and the winter weather and rough roads. I would love LFP batteries for the dual motor as range is also an issue due to our remote location and our long winters (5-6 months). Thanks for covering this topic.

Yeah, at 5:30 you said "most likely" and there's the problem, IMO. No one, with certainty, can predict what a Model Y's residual value will be after 3 years. As soon as Tesla or another competitor announces a breakthrough in battery tech that allows for faster charging and more range, the value of your Model Y will plummet. Take the money you save in monthly payments for the next three years on a lease and save up the down payment for the next lease. You'll get all the benefits of an electric, zero out of pocket costs for warranty repairs, and you won't be upside down on your loan in year five.

Basically FSD is a PIPE DREAM.

With all the engineering and regulation effort of FSD, I do wish all EV manufactures would spend this on better supporting V2G. This would at least make the most of the battery especially now todays chemistries can cope with more cycles.

I have a 2023 M3 with LFP batteries. I charge at home with a level 2 charger at least weekly to 100%. My car has 12,500 miles and I have lost 2.5% of battery already. That is after 11 months of use.

I have a 2023 Model 3 LFP battery with 38K miles on it and charge to 100% everyday because I drive for a living. At full charge i get 261 miles now vs 272 miles when I first bought the car. So I believe that's 3.75% degradation so far. Is that good or bad?

The Tesla model Y has a huge safety deficit if you live in a cold climate. In snow conditions where traffic is stranded for periods due to accidents, the battery discharge rate (without regeneration possible in a remote area like a mountain pass) can be deadly. Starting a trip in the winter with the RAV4 hybrid is a much safer venture in this environment, as long as you fill up with gasoline first. And the utility of the Hybrid is close enough to choose this one for me in my climate. Besides the body and interior of the Toyota are superior. Thanks!

It absurd that Tesla is attempting to create a self driving system without lidar and radar. Google is uses neural network learning as does Tesla. On the surface people seem to think that Tesla has some proprietary technology that isn't available to everyone else. As far as I can tell-they are reliant on the data from their cars to create their self driving model. Google, who has been involved in self driving for over 14 years, doesn't think this is enough. They have spent the time researching the problem, Tesla has not.

I am highly skeptical of the practicality of humanoid robots. A non bipedal robot in most applications beats a humanoid robot. Look at the videos of the Optimus loading a battery cell carrier. A traditional robot in the background peels a few cells off the assembly line to feed to the Optimus so it can do the same but slower. That traditional robot is faster and cheaper than Optimus, though of course more ugly.

Well one of those is Tesla. 7) What company has an automotive self driving platform that they design the hardware and software that works (supervised but with you rarely having to take control of the wheel) in every city and town in the United States. There is only one that can claim that and that is Tesla. 8) What company went from nothing to a humanoid robot that can walk on its own around offices and do some simple chores in less than four years. Other companies took over a decade to do the same thing and Tesla is won't be selling just hundreds or thousands of robots but millions of robots before 2040 if not sooner. Next year they expect to have THOUSANDS of robots in Tesla factories. They might be doing simple things but you run before you walk. Tesla expects that their robots and energy systems are going to be the largest profit areas for Tesla in less than 10 years. And Tesla is already very profitable with their cars. There are many other examples. That's just some of them and none of the negative people have done 1% of what he has.

Making the impossible merely late is getting very lame when they have 6 projects way behind schedule: semi, roadster, cybertruck, Mexico factory, FSD, and cheaper model.
