These young "military" should learn some true job skills.... Everyone want to be military, wear uniform and feel important and have a good job position... They would be more useful like bricklayer, farmer, anything needs arms for job...but they prefere a good salary doing anything or just watching around fuel tank in some warehouse...thats why nowdays Is difficult join the army..because everyone want to go in... In the past were not time to care about boots and bullshits like nowdays...

What references cover NCOERs? When you say extended NCOER, explain a scenario. Also, what if there have been change of raters (multiple) in one year and you were told to just do a year NCOER because it's "easier" .... what does changing multiple raters look like? Does the 60 dat rule apply in this situation?

I am currently in AIT and have about 4 weeks left. I had projection orders in IPPSA, but they have recently been removed. Do you know why this would be and what this means?

As an infantryman, being a Drill does nothing for our careers. If you’re a POG it might but for us its not really a good look

There's no way max is achievable here if your max is 60, for example. 2 seconds just isnt enoufh for a clean execution and a 4 point movement. And no bottom position rest? Lol thats ridiculous. Upper position rest ain't shit.

The dreaded IPPS-A! My Battalion doesn't know how to enroll me on CHBOLC. For 5 months, I was scratching my way in the dark, until I viewed this. 😭😭😭 Thank you very much for giving me a clue on how to use this thing. Now, I'm awaiting my scheduled school. 🥹🥹🥹☺️☺️☺️

I have a little different view from you. You have need to have communication and make sure their readiness is good to go. That's it. They are not your friends and a NCO is not a babysitter.

Do NOT be the NCO who tells their soldiers to just "Google it" if they have a question. Not only will this give people the impression that you are arrogant and/or lazy, it kind of defeats the purpose of NCOs. Plus, what if you are in an area where there is no Internet?

Well 05/17/2024 is a day when BLC and DLC are not requirements to promote to E-5. As well as non promotables are allowed in BLC. Crazy world we live in. Anywho, I'm in BLC right now, and yes, I did my DLC and promotion board. Thanks for the tips, SFC French👍🤙

That’s how I did my boots, I used big elastic bands. My instructor had your US elastic hook bands. Never saw them In Australian Army. But that’s how we do it. Just need good elastic bands. Well done soldier 👌

In Spain the legionaries use a black elastic strap to fix the pant inside of the boot. You can easily see them use it but this keeps the pant very fitted to the leg. It is useful to reduce the noise while you run but in the spanish Marines we prefer the way of the video.

Just an observation not a criticism. We were always told by our drill sergeants that boot laces are always to be left over right. Is that still the case?

Thank you!!!. I’m a new NCO and my NCOER is due this month however my rater or senior rater has never counseled me and they want me to write my own NCOER i know im stellar when it comes to working with soldiers and hyping them up but i hate hyping my self up it makes me feel selfish.

Elbows out will wreck your shoulders; teach good form/ technique and build strength through full range of motion, don’t rely on “hacks” to just pass. A good Soldier is fit, physically and mentally tough. This doesn’t happen in a day. Take time, build your body and team. Stay strong!
@Laron53
@Laron53 Ай бұрын
I agree with you. I think he was being exaggerate with the elbows though. Elbows at 45 degrees is perfect. I think highers emphasize the close grip so much that it becomes tricep dominant. Which are much harder to do
