Endeavor constantly told Toya about All Might. He put it in Toya's mind to be a hero. Toya constantly used his firepower to get attention from his father. He wanted to be a hero not because he wanted to be a hero, but so he could spend time with his father. He wanted to continue his father's legacy and make him proud.Toya may see himself as wrong or inadequate because she cannot use his power without harming himself. You cannot ask a little child to make decisions like an adult. He was burned. He knew why he was born at a young age.

A little bit late to the party but I am glad that KZbinrs with common sense finally pointed out how F...ING SHIT the worldbuilding of My Hero Academia is. I mean, you have all these people with superpowers running around doing whatever the f... they want. And the world governments suddenly DON'T HAVE their militaries to deal with their BS. Worse yet, the author only told stories in JAPAN ALONE and at best, gave us some glimpses of the Hero/Villain situation in the US. What about the rest of the world? What happened to the UN? Why the f*** do the world governments just stand down their militaries and let these egotistical assh*** do whatever the hell they want? Basically, the more you think about the world of MHA, the worse it gets.

If you read the story it tells you the reason maki was not as strong was because her twin sister, in JJk if you have a twin curse energy treats you two as the same person. Meaning no matter what maki did if her sister did not die she would never reach her full potential. Which is sad and one of the reasons her character changed. You seem to not understand the story. I just watched thorn die and knew this show was terrible like my ability to believe this man could not have either killed the gut he dueled faster or the fact his men allowed his son to be captured and didn’t even attempt to stab him in the back while they all just sat there is crazy😂 my girl got me watching this and it’s horrible, I’m enjoying it because she likes anime and that’s cool but this show is ass
