The soil might be too wet. You can try replacing the soil in the pot with new, dry soil.

Himalayan salt for my pot plant veg...been adding every day for a month now and plants are green lush and thriving in bad soil but now have the nutrients which the compost is lacking..all these years I was told don't put salt on your plants...table salt, yes, that will kill us too,but natural sea salt has all the elements to survive, even cats too!

Does the ginger have to dry after soak before placing in soil? Do you know any brands of potting mix I should use
@GoGreenYes4 ай бұрын
You can plant it immediately without having to dry it first. Combine potting soil with compost mulch for your ginger. You want to plant your ginger in well-draining soil to prevent rot. Mildly acidic soil is best for ginger, so make sure that your soil or potting mix has a pH of six to six-and-a-half
@melahd66044 ай бұрын
What soil do you use?
@GoGreenYes4 ай бұрын
The best soil for ginger is loose, loamy, and rich in organic matter. Loamy soils allow water to drain freely, which will help prevent the rhizomes from becoming waterlogged.
