Damn, they are developing another Sonos Arc with 11.2.4 and another form of Sonos was with 8 speakers and another Sonos sub gen larger like 12X8, it would be great but in reality I have the complete set of the Sonos Arc Ultra with 2X Sonos Era 300 and the Sonos Sub Gen 4, the truth is that it is a system that is too powerful, it would need about 2,500 watts of power. I say this because I love how noisy it is. and that it has clear voices, don't rush to buy the set one at a time. Hi Guys!! NEED HELPP!! Im so sadden by this news. I was using the Elite active 75t for so many years and its finally giving up on me. I was going to get another Jabra but unfortunately they stopped making them. So can someone PLEASE recommend me something as good or better for daily use + sports which has high quality audio AND and bass. PLEASEEE

I got this for 699€ at a -50% sale. 😁 An awesome deal. The Q990D was also available for 899€ at the same store, but after comparing both on the RTINGS website I ended up buying the Q930D. The only notable differences for me we're the missing HDMI 2.1 passthrough and a 0.3 difference in the Atmos score, so I figured I'd be better off saving the 200€. 🙂

Don’t know about the Era 300s but the Era 100s as Surrounds with the Arc Ultra doesn’t work properly with any 5.1 Source. The Soundbar volume increases equally with the rear Surrounds so you can’t accomplish the intended effect.

Will you guys ever review the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro? Would love to know how these compare to those earbuds!

I'm not fully convinced that the testing methodology of rtings really reflects real world conditions. According to rtings, even the Samsung 800D outperforms the likes of a Sennheiser Ambeo Max, Sony Theatre Quad or Sonos Ultimate Immersive Set, which is, sorry, pure nonsense. Also: I compared the Q990D with the Sonos set back to back and in no way are the Samsung rears outputting better Surround effects than the Era 300s as you indicate in your review. I do find the center channel of the Samsung more convincing though.

It's an outstanding set! Creates beautiful atmos bubble around you. The music sounds great too. Sonos sub is a thing of beauty too - it delivers a huge punch when it needs to without shaking your whole house in the process. The new arc is way better than the previous one. The dialogue is clear and deep not hollow and tinny like it was and there's a way better separation between the speakers. It doesn't get muddy and it's very loud and clear even in low volumes which is great when you're watching something at night. The atmos height speakers are also way more powerful and I can easily distinguish when something is flying over my head etc. I'm super happy with my set. If you have the money to spend just go for it

Great view. I like the telling it as it is. I just bought my ultra and sub back in Dec 2024. Really enjoying it. 4K disk movies are INSANE to hear on the system. It goes absolutely beast mode! Just order my 300s, in store pick up on 4th Feb. Really excited to hear both Dune and Blade Runner 2049 after the set up is complete. I hear Top Gun Maverick is a great buy too.

Sorry, but I’ve been burned by Samsung audio dropouts on the sub and rears on every home theater system I’ve bought. Hasn’t happened once on my Sonos system.

tomorrow the sub 4 gets delivered to join the arc ultra and double 300s. pretty excited. it's better than the 4 OG homepods i had before, but the homepods were more bang for ur buck.

I had this question last November. After at least 10 years of use, my old Sony 5.1 system was retired (still working but lack of Bluetooth connectivity and Dolby ATMOS made me to take this decision). But after all the reviews from KZbin and Google, there still was no answer. In the end, I chose Sony Theater Bar 9 not Sonos Arc Ultra. In first of all for connectivity, I have a PS5, and the lack of 2 HDMI ports from Sonos was important for me. Another important reason is that Sony supports DTS:X and Sonos not. And the last one was the price, I'm from Romania and here Sonos is not very popular and the price is in general very high. Indeed without any discounts, both soundbars are around 1000-1200-1500 USD but I found some discounts and I paid for Sony around 600 USD. Regarding the bass more or less is present. depends on the volume for regular use in movies games music I don't feel like is necessary a subwoofer instead when I cross 70-75% of the volume....... I think I will buy one. As a stand-alone sound bar, I think the surround is quite impressive ( the big difference is made by the content that you watch on PS5 is wow but on a regular film from Netflix not that great) here I have a mention, I didn't hear a Sonos arc ultra in a similar environment / in my living-room.

The Bose disappear on my ears. Very comfortable. Once I forgot I was wearing them and jumped into the water... not good for them! Also the clicky buttons are a joy compared to most swipe/touch controls. The Bose have a very nice sound balance even though the bass isn't super deep. Finally, immersive mode on the Bose is a revelation - music sounds like it's in the room with you. The illusion is especially good when working on a laptop or watching TV. I always use immersive mode.

Samsung's updated Q990F is coming soon (Spring, I think) with a 300W Sub. I am going to hold. cause I hear that the current Sub is not that strong for average room.

I'm wondering, I have a Philips hue sync box that all my HDMI cords are plugged into, so I won't be able to plug into my new Samsung sound bar with PS5/xbox. Will this be an issue at all while gaming?
