I find it hard to believe that people your age have never heard Van halen . But then again I wouldn't know Taylor Swift if she jumped up and slapped me across the face with the bear of her ass . Just saying.

Another thing that’s super important is it sounds great! to the ear! the rhythm the feel you wanna listen to it! it’s not just all about technique. Like some people are very technically good but you don’t you don’t wanna hear what they’re playing. It doesn’t sound good.

Yep I’m 47 and it’s still a banger. That track was actually produced by DJ Muggs from Cypress Hill in collaboration with House Of Pain. And that clip was filmed in NYC during the 1992 St Patrick’s Day Parade. One of the best hip hop tracks of all time. Love from Australia ❤️

Just like RunDMC, the Beastie Boys were responsible for everything we call hiphop. They were early in the game. And it's a shame many black folks didn't even want to give them a chance just because they're white. And now you see them on youtube in their 40's finally discovering Beastie Boys in reaction vids and getting their minds blown. I rocked with the Beastie Boys ever since hearing 'Fight for your Right'. Even though they technically weren't full on hiphop just yet. (They started as a punk rock band with raps).

I'm originally from Texas myself (Plano). I love you guys reactions! Eddie Van Halen was so far ahead of the time they didn't even have the guitar to make the sounds he wanted, so he built his own from different guitars. It was then called the "Frankenstrat." I was fortunate enough to have seen him play live 9 times. Keep doing what you do! Merry Christmas.
