There are rumors popping up about an upcoming sequel series to Korra about the next Avatar.

Toph not crushing Kuvira then and there is like what Iroh said in ATLA: even if he could take down Ozai and become Fire Lord, history would see it as a brother killing brother for power, so it had to be the Avatar, and Zuko had to be Fire Lord. Here, even if Toph took down Kuvira, someone else would take her place because her ideals would live on. It has to be Korra, because of what the Avatar represents.

There are more Avatar projects in development, but nothing yet. If you're looking for more things to react to, Dragon Prince is right up this channel's alley, and is by one of the ATLA writers. And I don't know that it has the right fantasy vibe for the GW channel (though I'd watch) but if you're just looking for a good laugh, the new remake of Ranma 1/2 is a great comedy anime.
