Just watched Jodie on the Top Gear episode from 2012. She took my breath away, such a lovely beautiful person. A great example of a great character. Good to see she has not lost any of her spirit and charm.

Followed Shmee for a few years. Nice guy who really knows his cars, didn’t like his manners much in gumball rally. DDE paid sponsorship to gumball and was part of gumball livery. Shmee didn’t like idea of advertising another KZbinr on his car. So he basically cut out the DDE logo and put his own. Rather naughty as the adverts on gumball livery costs 100’s1000s to sponsor event. He got pulled on it by DDE. Shmee sheepish said, “ oops sorry guys, didn’t realise. Hey we should do episode together. It obviously was going to happen. He obviously see’s them as competitors but doesn’t realise the audience watch him,DdE , Matt Armstrong, tverish ,and so on.

F1 engines of that era idles at 5000rpm, a reason why they are so loud even on standstill. The engine needs rebuilding after every race. It needs a lot of changes made to it to make it run on a Porsche for sure.

Jags V8,s, Range Rover V8S, etc etc,,the 3.5 rovers and variants are junk an alloy LS chev is cheaper to build, cheaper to run and a garden variety alloy engine and gearbox is $2500 and 400hp of no repairs and oil leaks and 6.0 and 6.2 litre and torque to get the job done,, AND THEY FIT IN MX5 mazdas no problemo.

I had the privilege of seeing this asphalt monster on the Sintra stages, what a thrill! The sound of this engine gave me goosebumps. Henri Toivonen was my favorite driver, I stopped following rallies after the fateful day he left us.

He sounds like a real players he's lost his looks puffy booze face big dad belly. He would not attract all these gold digging dollies if he was just a labourer Also I find men I've dated with hot sports cars are usually compensating for lack of something below the belt.😅

£230k for an MGB, Rover V8, leaf springs and anti tramp bars? 🤣🤣. This is classic Starbucks economy at play, piggy backing of the back of other insanely inflated car prices, charging as much as you possibly can for something the customer wont be able to recover on resale. For similar money you could have anything from a 1973 2.7 911 MFI or 1960’s Aston Martin to a Lamborghini Aventador, all of which are both desirable and appreciating assets.

Yes, can build your own for next to nothing... but show off rich people wouldn't be caught dead in a car that's priced below $2K...

All this political correctness bullshyte of putting women in a video shows the level of ignorance we have devolved to. No real enthusiast wants to hear anything from her about a porsche. Between her and the Blond car broad, I'm not sure which I like least. Shouldn't she be making a video about cooking 😂😂😂

The best reg number I've actually ever seen in the metal was in the late 1990's in Newton Heath in north Manchester on a dark green BMW 5 series and it was ' 4 KOF ' , sadly , I've never seen it since .

What a lovely video, as it was my introduction into the world of Simon Kidston and his lovely lady friend, whose name has escaped me.... pity...:(. The two of them have a great "Chemistry together" and their conversation flows effortlessly......:). Yes indeed... Classic Cars certainly have their place in our "Over Hyped World" which is too fast paced and over run with far too much technology...... Yuck!! Ted Schempp, Nashville
