I love this game so much. The bosses, Luigi logic, characters like Technikki and IDLE. I'm bold enough to say this is PEAK Mario and Luigi right here. I really love seeing youtubers playing and reacting to the insanity and hilarity this game had in store.

Sharpcask's an interesting boss for the Jump/Hammer only no gear(includes no run-down boots and no run-down Hammer) challenge as, very technically, assuming minimum level, plugs/bros attacks may be required. specifically due to Brothership's paper jam speed stat mechanic where Sharpcask can heal for 96 or 132 hp total if he goes twice, which a majority of bosses can do this game, which I really like, as it makes them more threatening. 🤔 when normally leveled, Jump/Hammer only's supah simple for Sharpcask and you'll out-damage the healing no problem. regarding Sharpcask's AI, I noticed, outside of the scripted defense mode, it will only go into its defense 48 hp heal mode when it takes a certain amount of damage. and spiked balls are the way to defeat it at minimum level since those ignore defense(assuming Jump's not enough even w/the required Luigi Logic) and it outright abandons healing entirely when it enters rage mode, meaning when reaching that point, you're in the clear to win the hard part is sharpcask legit theoretically will take about an hour or 2 for minimum level cuz dese brothership bosses legit have the most hp in the series💀 but its deff worth the challenge

I absolutely love doing the bosses gearless. It adds a lot of strategy to how you fight. I do use gloves and accessories, but no stat buffing gear. Bosses like sharpcask, goblick, heck, even the goomba horde all become insane challenges

I’m not the biggest fan of Zapperator because it’s really hard skewed towards crowds, which makes it mostly useless in boss fights since they’re almost always one enemy and Green Shell will usually end up dealing more damage. Off the top of my head I think I only used Zapperator on a single boss in the entire game. I feel it’s the only Bros. Attack in the series to be specifically tuned for use against regular enemies instead of bosses or both.

Actually, the optional Balloon Blast attack from Paper Jam was like this as well, completely useless against most bosses due to its low damage against strong targets, but amazing multi-hit crowd control.

For me personally, aside from the Bro Ball being too slow when you first get there it's mostly the braindead placement of the green pipe. It only lets you skip like one shark pit and instead lands you right in front of an area crammed with near impossible to dodge regular enemies rather than going just a little further to the part where you meet the two brothers in that sidequest who you have to revisit repeatedly if you're doing all the quests.
