Biggest con in a mihoyo game is being a female, there are way too many women, and women/gay players need more husbandos.

Sunday is a MUST pull. People who says otherwise are full of copium. Summons will stay meta relevent unlike DoT and Monoquantum. Dot and mono quantum is already dead so no hope for any future archetype. Hoyo will just expand already meta like FUA, Break,!/superbreak to catchup with summons. Dead unit mostly limited quantum are so useless. Aventurine > Fu xuan, Ruan Mei, Robin Sunday > Sparkle, Any FUA and Break/superbreak dps > seele, any nihility> silver wolf. Quantum the weakest class and hoyo even not paying g attention to them even for weakness in Moc, as and pf. When was the last time quantum is the main weakness for endgame??? Almost a year that element remains useless and it will remain useless for another 3.0 patch.

IMO yunli is better than both boothill and rappa, especially with s1. Shes good in every game mode, much like acheron. Her damage is really good with her empowered ultimate counter. Her only downside is that she needs enemies to hit her to do her damage, but thats not unlike how firefly and boothill are shit out of luck against enemies that lock out their weakness bar. Shes also goated against second half MOC 12 because of how often hoolay attacks.

Ain't no way people still think Acheron is the best when she's only seen nowadays with life support of s1 and Jiaoqiu, and sometimes even needs e2. Like wow she's good in pf (*with S1 and Jiao) and she can clear on the same level as the other 4 in AS (*with S1 and Jiao). It's time for people to accept that not being able to utilise harmony properly is her fault and like with dot, you can't wait for an imaginary unit to come along and save your archetype. Bar for bar all 4 of these dps outperform her in each of their respective areas. Some in multiple of these. The jack of all trades, master of none. It's time to acknowledge powercreep and move on to other dps rather than clinging to a 5th place dps as if she's still the best whilst futily attempting to simultaneously fix and ignore her problems. It's over she is cooked.

Pulling for pretty fox lady VS upcoming ultimate meta support is truly a great dilemma :D

My plan right now is to just get e2 firefly and not care about the meta for a long while with my e2 acheron (and jiaoqiu) and e2 firefly with a mostly f2p setup (e0s0 ruan mei, hmc and gallagher - no luck with lingsha and it really hurts because of how useful she seems to be in all modes especially pf). btw I know this shit is boring but I mostly vertically invest in characters I like so that next time there is actually a character I like again - I would not have to worry about the prior updates of potentially op characters. This is the same reason I don't get someone like neuvi from genshin even though he is op and comfy Is fugue even a good pull? and with sunday and summon meta on the horizon would I regret not saving up for him? I don't have enough jades for 2 choices and I can only pick between e2 firefly (e1 currently), 1 fugue or 1 sunday. Sidenote I do not like sunday because as the con stated he is potentially not a pretty anime lady

I need him for my DHIL, and I might go for summon teams in the future. I'm gravitating more towards male characters anyway. I just don't know wtf my Sparkle is going to do now. Side note; I kind of wonder if summon will be the future of hypercarry. You know, the same way FuA became the future of single target. The weakness of hypercarry, as you said too, is that only the main DPS deals damage - but if the main DPS deals damage along with their summon, that kind of solves that problem while still allowing for the traditional hypercarry setup of building a team around buffing a singular character to Heaven and back.

To put it simply: Fugue is great for Superbreak units and Sunday is great for crit dps's. Pull Fugue if you have a Superbreak team (Firefly, boothill, Rappa etc..) and pull Sunday if you mainly play a Hyper-Carry team. (This is definitely over-simplified, But it's mainly just for the meta listeners. For the none meta listeners like me, Pull the character if you like them, but i won't guarantee that you're not going to bench them if you pull the wrong unit.)

I'll stay over here enjoying my SUPEABREAK and Firefly while everyone hates on it XD

Honestly I expect the Fugue nerf is more due to superbreak being stupidly busted. It's wild that I can slot my E0 Himeko with a really mid build into the DPS slot of the superbreak team and clear very similarly to my well-built RRAT FUA team. The classic superbreak comp does NOT need a further buff. Anyway I'm excited for Fugue to help keep Himeko relevant and for easier Xueyi and Boothill stacks! But Sunday+LC is definitely higher priority. I'll be right where Hoyo wants me at the start of 3.0 (broke)

Good analysis. I agree with the analysis in general. I'm only like 3 months into HSR and I'm not bored of super break (yet)... in fact without it, I'm not sure I'd be clearing the game. So... 1) I'm probably going to keep HMC around a little longer. My main team is HMC, Lingsha, Rappa + Serval/Herta/Himeko/QQ (basically super break erudition units) ... so if I cannot use HMC and super break teams, then I literally need to build a whole other team to clear content. 2) Sunday is more tempting to pull because I have DHIL and I want to build his team as my second team, which can be done without me scrapping my super break team.

Fugue is the most worth for me since i like break teams, not interested at all for the summon shit so sunday is ez skip.

20:07 as an acheron and she is my fav character I dont agree she do great dmg ofc but her ultimate is very hard to get and firefly do insane damage everytime she use her skill so u dont need to get the ultimate a lot like acheron so achern indeed do more damage but firefly is way better(I never tried fexiao or tried to understand her kit so I wont talk about her)

To be honest you’re fairly right. Fugue is just not worth it unless you’re going to be using firefly/rappa in 3.0 (if ur using remembrance trailblazer) And for Sunday, I have trust issues I think he might be like Sparkle and the leaked 3.1 harmony kid like character will be like Robin and completely power creep him since he’s not a woman lol. Sunday is also incredibly reliant on his s1 to run many teams and fugue needs e1 to be better than ruan Mei or Bronya for break teams like boothill. Right now I’m thinking I’d rather have Sundays lc than Sunday himself lol, it would strengthen my tingyun Bronya and sparkle like crazy, I run my e4 Bronya with feixiao but run into sp issues Sundays lc would fix it. Same for my sparkle in dhil teams it would fix many sp issues.

I skipped most break characters and only pulled E2S1 Ruan Mei lmao. Also skipped Feixiao and Topaz for E2 Black Swan.

I want to be able to use my favorite characters. If I can no longer use my favorite characters my wallet closes. I'm considering to never pull for new characters again and just focus on the characters I already have. I spent a 100 euros on acquiring Feixiao and her lightcone. Mihoyo will invalidate my time and money spent at their own peril. I'm done with this HP bloated enemies game.
