I had this one and it worked fine, but you best store in a garage, I kept mine under a tarp and the second season the wiring in the start button box burned up. So I just bought the Harbor Freight 5 ton model, has worked fine for me for over 10 years.

Place your piece of wood to split against the wedge, not against the ram! So it will not rotate or move around before it starts to split.

Mud n snow tire bit still switching for winters Makes me wonder where you are n what youre up against. I got the cooper evolution winter tire. And expect it to last 30-50k. Plan on running em all year long, got em for cheap because it is a 2020 production put em on this year. 1995 toyota truck
@GMechinicАй бұрын
Here in Pa we get a diverse track of weather across the board. From dry (currently) to snow to ice. Ice for me is the big deal. I like studded tires for winter the most. On the HT3s I sold the truck with them on it. The guy that bought the truck ran them another 20k so they had to have at least 40k on them when he took them off. Also still had tread left. Move the piston all the way to the top in that bad, spring cylinder so you don't drop the valve in the hole,, and all will be well when replacing the spring...

That may not work to put the valve spring keeper on. I haven't tired it though because I always use the tool or remove the head. Thanks for the comment and for watching

Killer deal. I picked up a Jet 16 speed at Home Depot in 2007 that had been dropped in shipment. One handle on the quill feed was broken. The plastic handle on the table adjustment has the end broken but still works. I bought it about 2008 and still paid a lot more than you did. Never hurts to ask. Glad you were able to fix any small issues with the quill feed. The table adjustment handle can be replaced with a shop made handle pretty easily.

My brother, I have a 2021 Camry that does not have heated mirrors, and I want to make a modification to it after the factory. My question is, is it possible to pull two wires from the rear window heater and connect them to the wire of the new mirrors so that they work on the same rear defroster switch? Will this affect the electrical system of the car, knowing that it is a 2021 model, and also knowing that the car does not have a heating wire option?
@GMechinicАй бұрын
I would contact Toyota for that. Because a lot of these newer vehicles have limits on the circuits and safety in place controlled by the body control module. Thanks for the comment and for watching

In most small engines that are air cooled even water cooled there is specification to clearance between the rocker and the valve stem. Either with a shim or an adjustment screw at the rocker. Thanks for the comment and for watching

Have you ever tried pulling it towards you instead of pushing it forward? I've run similar Mantis and Yard Machine tillers and pulling gave better results... dug deeper. I pull back and let it crawl forward while steering it into position for the next pass. Folding the wheels helps too!

I will try that next time. I've always let the tiller kind of pull it self though and draw it self forward easier on the shoulders. Thanks for the comment and for watching

That Insane canister looks good. I bet I could cut a roll of VIVA paper towels to fit it. Too expensive for me. Not much I could do to use a good cartridge in the Amsoil.
@GMechinic5 ай бұрын
You probably could get a paper towel roll to fit but it wouldn't work as good. The toilet paper is tighter and more dense. I believe it worked well on that 6.5 and did get some extra miles out it. I think the guy that invented this one developed another one that actual took a normal size toilet paper roll. The setup was a little pricey but to maintain it wasn't . Large pack of toilet paper 1000 sheets is under $20. That's a lot of filters. Thanks for the comment and for watching.
@ralphwood881826 күн бұрын
In the 60s all we had was soft 2 ply. It worked great. We pushed the whole roll in. There were no Frantz elements in those days or Scott 1000. Frantz used soft 2 ply in the AeroFrantz the 2 3 and 4 stacker for diesel engines. When Frantz went out of production a big Frantz dealer in Gulfport Mississippi came out with a big filter that uses Bounty big roll paper towels. Dont know what they use now. They are in a bag. I still use some of his little toilet paper filters. I normally use Great Value 1000 from Walmart. I have used Charmin Ultra Strong for gravity feed diesel or very low fuel pump pressure. The top salesman had the big filters tested. They are 99 percent at under 1 micron. He does locomotive engines on offshore rigs. He thinks the little filters are not worth fooling with. He is into military. NASA saw my posts and started using them. Thats his game.
@ralphwood88186 ай бұрын
In the 60s all we had was 2 ply. No Scott 1000 or Frantz elements. We had 1 ply but it was loose wound crap. We used 2 ply in everything including the FAA and PMA approved AeroFrantz. I have read a few aircraft oil analysis reports. The best place for the ring in the Frantz is in the trash can.

Great video for me! I bought my 02 2500hd Duramax Allison brand new 22 years ago but didn’t know the trans fluid ran through the radiator, I thought it was a separate cooler. Anyway my cooling system is fine but after 2 decades & 190k miles I’m wondering if it’s time to replace the radiator or wait until I get some indication of failure?
