It's a handsome bugger and I love that they put an exhibition caseback on a VK63! A bit derivative of a Dan Henry 1963 (minus the missing date complication) and I think they need to tweak the alignment of the second hand a bit. But after seeing this and your last video I pulled the trigger on an HZ.01. That one just really appeals to me! Cheers!

There's an opportunity to fancy up the internals of a VK movement. So much color and finish could be added to various parts. Think they could look super under a glass back. Wonder if they chose a smaller-than-average case size so the movement would fill out that window?

Very nice attractive design from a newcomer, would be a great daily wear. Not muxh to complain about, agree about the proportions. A 38-39 may be better and seems too thick. More taper in bracelet would be nice and VK63 has a date so it must have a ghost position. Would be useful but 37mm probably too small to include it.

I will say, the clasp integration is fantastic for the price!! I’m really turned off by a lot of watches with tool-less micro adjust because of how bad the gaps on both sides of the clasp. This watch makes it seem like other micro brands are just lazy with the integration. One that comes to mind is the Tuseno dive watch. I would’ve bought the white dial but the clasp just doesn’t sit flush to the bracelet.

As a relatively new watch collector, at first I bought a bunch of mechanical watches, which I love and get the ´romantic´ aspect of them, but as a busy office person who doesn´t really have space for a watch winder, or can justify the purchase of as most of my watches are entry level affordable watches, I wish I had a couple of more high quality, enthusiast quartz watches I could grab and go, I have the ali express chameri Jody reviewed a few months ago, and I have the bulova super seville precionist, plus a couple of vintage inspired casios, and those are heavy in the rotation now, I think this microbrand has the right idea.

Very nice. Titanium g5, design, bracelet, price, all respectable. But for me (emphasizing this is absolutely not bashing or criticism), it is way too tiny. 37m with such prominent bezel and dial becomes a must-squint-to-see. I'd like to see this one as 40-41mm with the color matched date, and with its 100m wr it becomes a great daily alrounder.

Been subscribed for about a year now, and love the channel. l've just turned 64 this past week and can say l much prefer mechanical watches to quartz movements. But to approach it from a bit of a different perspective, l started riding kick-start street bikes in the late nineteen-seventies. Have a few classics still in the shed, but the ones that get ridden start with a ... push button! Classic charm is attractive indeed, and l seldom wear quartz watches, but the ease of use of electric cannot be denied.
