Ah yes, fire in space. For a moment. And then it's gone. Clearly for the sake of visual effect, and can be explained away by a quick oxygen leak. This is completely different to a sustained fire which lasts minutes and actively affects the plot.

People who've seen Acolyte complain there can be no fire in space. But here also we see albeit briefly, a fire in space. Not only that but the ship has left the atmosphere of the planet and the fire is being blown by some wind which wouldn't happen in real life

Yeah that's not how blockades work in Star Wars. Like the other guy stated, the TF could have deployed a squadron in the time it would take to go around. Also hyperspace lanes only work in specific sectors of space. When a planet is blockaded in Star Wars, those doing the blockade are really blocking access to the hyperspace lane. Not the planet itself. So basically, you can't just "go around".

always bothered me that they never found production facilities, or shipyards, or a weapons depot. The City should have had all of those and the Military would have priorities looking for them especially since they were in a fight all the time. M60s are great, but all the Ancient Guards had side arms and there would have be some kind of weapons locker in the city.

He would overwhelm whoever the SGA group had doing his jobs. If SG1 had been cancelled soon after this, any of the SG1 characters (except for T’ealc) could have been sacrificed for the new show, but they did a proper spinoff rather than a sequel series.
