I think the whole point of the movie is that the Bifrost really hasn’t been used to access other realms since the great war. Heimdall guards the gate as it’s Gate keeper but Asgardians as a whole withdrew from the other realms, no longer peacekeepers over the 9 realms. Thor & his friends grew up doing a time of peace where Bifrost travel was limited so their knowledge of it’s workings might be limited too.

+carloscristero First off, these guys technically aren't supposed to be gods; they're a highly advanced civilization from another dimension with physiologies far superior to humans and technology that's so advanced it's practically magic. Second, "white" most likely does not refer to skin color; it refers more to purity of spirit, seeing as how white is very often the color of purity. I'd say the movie got that aspect of Heimdall absolutely right. That matters more to me than skin color, as well as it should to anyone else.
@carloscristero9 жыл бұрын
MrPjw5 Okey. I actually live in Norway, and have the real mythology in both school and home projects. In the original language without mistranslations. Heimdall actually was guarding the entrance to Valhalla. And was made fun of by his fellow gods for being white as snow. Vikings never had "good or "bad" colours. Spirit was never even given a colour. And the Marvel Universe has rewritten almost everything about the myth. The white is pure stuff came at the end of the Viking age with Christianity. The same goes for good and bad colours. I do not mind marvel taking their own spin on things. Idris Elba is an good actor, and he is perfect for the role. Such a minor change like skin colour is by no means bad.

"the whitest of the gods" That's ONE English translation. The Old Norse was hvitr, which actually meant "bright" or "shining." Even in Old English usage, "hwit" meant "morally pure." It had absolutely NOTHING to do with skin color. It was only by the 14th or 15th Century when the usage came to define a person of light skin color. If you are Northern European, you all have the same skin color, you can't be "whiter" than the white (pink, really) dude next to you. The only thing maybe is the color of your hair. Maybe Heimdall had white hair. Anyhoo he's a god, he has powers, he can change his appearance as he wishes. This whole racial exclusivity thing is irrelevant when Marvel effectively made Asgard into a bunch of space aliens.

+Fenasi Kerim The whitest in virtue. It was a metaphor. The descriptor could have been referring to raiment or hair or personal character. This has nothing to do with "Hollywood," the MCU reinvented Norse myths, making Norse gods into extra-dimensional humanoid aliens with advanced tech altogether. The Vanir who live in Vanaheim are all played by East Asian actors, include Hogun the Grim himself, a character that does not exist in Norse mythology. This movies are based in comic books, Thor is in several movies with Ironman, Captain American, and Scarlet Witch, he will be in a movie with Spiderman eventually. Chill out.

I will help everyone out. This movie and all other movies are based on vrilology and balder rising. The bifrost represents the third ventricle space in the brain, heimdall represents dark energy that activates the mind's eye and thor represents the force of white light that is projected from the crown chakra. The Vision is the culmination of Balder force or red and green kundalini or hydra that forms the mani padme or jeweled lotus called the mind stone in the Avengers movie. Skin color is irrelevant and it only hints at quantum physics and how energy works in the human body when trying to evolve.
@teamkillmonger4458 жыл бұрын
***** With apocalypse, it would be the same thing. I read a translation of his real name En Sabah Nur which means the first one. And in the trailers, he mentions that he was compared to YHVH of the kabalah and Ra of Egyptian philosophy. With Ra being the snake God that forms solar stones and YHVH being the elemental forces of natural transformation, he can be correlated with kundalini energy which is also a serpent like energy that forms solar stones within the mind's eye. Being that they're mainly going with the biblical reference with this movie, apocalypse infinity stone would be the New Jerusalem in the book of revelations which is why it's described as being bright as the sun and made of jewels and metals. These stones amplify or modulates there consciousness through infinite fractal compression which allows them to alter the valence electrons of physical objects and cause them to become diamagnetic. This gives them the ability to have a direct interface with the universe, allowing them to transform and levitate objects along with other psychic abilities. Humans have these abilities but it takes years of meditation or astral projection which is where I learned about this information. Most movie's that are coming out today are about evolution but they put they put detailed information in the movie's to publicly communicate with practitioners or initiates of Kundalini Yoga or Kabbalah.
@teamkillmonger4458 жыл бұрын
***** Another interesting thing I recently learned is that Dr. Strange uses astral projection as one of his psychic abilities that he learned from a Buddhist monk during initiation. Dr. Strange's infinity stone would be the Golden Flower of Taoist yoga.
@teamkillmonger4458 жыл бұрын
***** Sorry for writing a bunch of stuff, but you may be interested in other movies besides marvel that talk about this information. The Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise, the Matrix, Harry Potter: Philosopher's Stone, Contact with Jodie Foster, J Bond: Spectre along with other movies refer to the spirit of Kundalini as well but in movies like the Matrix and Spectre, they use the symbology of the octopus which relates to hydra in the Avengers movie and how these entities govern secret societies or realities that humans know little about.

+Beyond The Firmament Why flat? I mean if you don't want to rely blindly on science fine, I actually respect that greatly, but look up in the sky; The sun is round, the moon is round and on a good night u can see round planets. It makes more sense things have an order and that the place we are on is also round. How can you also selectively use the theory of gravity? If you do believe in gravity, then you know with a center things will logically become a circle or sphere. This is not even a random science fact.. Take a piece of paper with a point in the middle, and make points around it going equally outwards as if they represent the smallest particles there are. You will get a circle. Since we are also in a 3d world, something which does not require science, because depth (you have walked on a stair right?). Thus every point from the centre would go outward in every 3d angle making the circle default to a sphere. These are things you can logically conclude without relying on random governed sources. It's logic.
