I don't know... just recently started playing again and the only way I could end my 10 or so lose streak was becoming exactly what you call a YSP here. The difference being that I literally solo kill 3-5 people in the end and push and end it alone while most or even all of my team are somewhere scattered around the map randomly. sometimes doing nothing but running around. It feels as if I'm mostly playing with bots. The games that I tried to play support were more fun tbh, because I played solely team-oriented, but I lost every single one of these games. Because my Hero had zero impact mid and late game and I couldn't push shit. While my carries did nothing. It's not nearly as easy as described in this video.

So I am definitely not a YSP cause I often get to play support. But what frustrates me is that supports can carry the game and my carries tend to be completely RETARDED ( ex. Phantom assassin buying falcon blade ). How do you handle those cases where your carry is just an imbecile, cant last hit, is not aware of his hero nor items he needs to build, often not with the team, solo dying, while you are a support and have to rely on that imbecile?

Till this day Valve has been using the same matchmaking algorithm for 11 years. From game experience point of view my team always act like brain dead jungle bots. This is my conclusion after 5000 hours of game play, ranked and unranked. You would be wasting your life if you want to solo rank up, and Valve decides who can or cannot rank up. But there is also the 50% forced winrate which makes climbing much harder. After you get to 2500 mmr after 4000+ games you will see that your supports don't know how to buy wards just like Heralds, and you pos 1 is a brain dead jungle monkey just like Herald. Well done Valve, well done.

Just recalibrated and lost 400mmr. Every game was a write off. For example, last game I had a 2 - 19 soft support 25 minutes who admitted to being a bought account, and that was one off the better games of my recalibration. Fuck this game 😂

@9:55 A better option for this is making the spell cast on the release of the key rather than the press (this exists now in 2024. HOTKEYS > ENABLE QUICK CAST> Turn on 'Triggered on Key Release' for the ability you want to press + hold to see the range. It's great cuz you can just do any other action if you don't want to follow through with key release). I like this a LOT for Blink Dagger. This allows you to see that big bubble range cuz we know we're tryna hit max range hooks

What happens when you run out of role queue tokens? You mentioned that there are games where you have hero with scores like 0-1, 0-2, or 1-1, but I can't play the role that I want to play because I run out of token and I'm forced to select to queue for all role, otherwise I don't get tokens isn't this a more important video than "what role is best for you?"
