Do I need an adapter for PS3 and PS4 use, or just for PS5 ?

I bought the R16 and I am having a great time, thanks to your suggestion! The size is not too large for my small medium hands and the rings around the buttons do help stabilize the keycaps and prevent wobble. One issue I ran into was that one screw was over-tightened and the thread was stripped. Now onto customizing!

Nice!!! Love the R16 and I have seen an issue with the screws for me it was putting it back on but I had one of the release units For me I had to tighten and loose really slow which sounds like it shouldn't matter but it did and when I put back on I have to thread loose until it falls into place then tighten slow and if it gets stuck unloosen and little and retighten slow until done Weird I know but only 1 or 2 screws do this on mine Glad it helped Thanks for watching subscribing and your comment

I got my Haute42 a few months ago. G16, then bought Outemu Creme silent switches for it. After buying the Mayflash converter and doing the necessary firmware update, I can honestly say that this controller works like an absolute DREAM. No more finger/thumb pains, no worrying about transportation because it's not bulky in the slightest, and I had WAY too much fun picking out what design I wanted for the display screen. The only way I can even think of to make it better was if they had PCBs that work natively on current-gen consoles, eliminating the need for the converter dongles. Other than that, 10/10. I hope you enjoy your new controller, @DrJones694!!

3:55 So I changed the colors for the buttons, and then if it is not for this part telling me how to switch to this self config color mode, how do I really know it? The instruction manual doesn't have it. Their website doesn't have it. Is it a "rely on KZbin to do things" kind of world now?

I got the Haute42 r16 black model off amazon that says ut works with ps5. I was able to access the web configuration lage but under inout mode i see everything listed ps3. Ps4 xbox acceot ps5? Can you give a step by step explanation on how to get this thing to work on the ps5 or even a tutroial vid man? Also where j. The configuration portal can you update the firmware??

Thats in the part 2 video I'm working on my advice is if you do not use your turbo button, which most people do not go to web config pin mapping press the pin viewer button go to that number change turbo to function repeat for profile 1 2 3 4 tabs save go to settings hotkey settings (last option on left) click the fn = function check box then for the next 4 options select Left Right Down Up Then for the drop down option on right pick load profile 1 ... 2 .. 3 ... 4 Save reboot now if you just hold the turbo button and press the direction keys it will which profile 1 2 3 4 on the fly Hope that makes sense and helps Thanks for watching subscribing and your comment

unplug it and hold the button for xinput down then plug it back in let go after 2 seconds after connecting You will want to go to the web configurator Hold start and connect your controller to a laptop or ipad go to settings and change your start mode from Keyboard mode to Xinput mode Next go to boot modes in settings change the modes This sets what mode will the controller start in you held down the keyboard mode when you connected it and put it in keyboard mode happens all the time I have my B1 & B3 to PS5 B2 & B4 to Xbox One R1 & R2 to Xinput L1 & L2 to Nothing or xinput hope that helps Thanks for watching subscribing and your comment

oh ok i think i understand what your saying You want to update your firmware to 0.7.10 The current latest version Your pad might have shipped with 0.7.7 firmware from the factory and you need the ps5 mode that comes on the newer firmware versions Step 1 here is a walk through video they make so you can update on a mac / windows / linux machine it's easier than you think takes less than 5 minutes to do kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHa7h4lve5d8g8k Step 2 Then you will want to go into the web configurator and set the start input mode to PS5 kzbin.info/www/bejne/b16mfntqd8iBhbc Hope this helps

@@drjones694 oh is your thinking like, since a "pin" can be any gameplay button or tiny setting button, so why waste a gameplay button? So just make the tiny Turbo button to act as a Profile toggle?

Essentially yes The turbo is default but the function button is more valuable on the daily for most folks unless you use button turbo daily You can set color swapping easier with function button etc Something to think about

I ran into this weird issue, maybe you can help a bro out. I've been playing on my M12 Plus on my PS5 without issue using the Brook Wingman FGC. Further down the line I decided to get the Booter 5. Unfortunately using the booter in my pass-through port I am suddenly running into the issue that my M12 disconnects after 8 minutes.

@@drjones694 unfortunately that didn't fix it, I've always had my M12 Plus in PS5 mode. The booter is always blinking, maybe I need to update it? If so, I couldn't find anything regarding that myself. I just took it out of its packaging and plugged it in lol.

The web configurator does not work even when the pad is in web config mode AND it is also unresponsive when I follow the firmware update instructions. Switching modes, turbo, led and all other functions are working but my pc does not detect it(tried Xinput and Keyboard mode). Cool looking piece of desk lighting is all it is at this point.

correction, make sure you are using the supplied USB-c cable or a compatible one. The one I was using works for other devices but not this pad.

Does putting the cable management clip on the haute pads make it difficult to do art swaps? I was wondering if i would have to replace the clip since ome would have to peel off the 3m tape every time it gets disassembled, no?
