Oh man Ryan! That's so awesome you teamed up with Salt Strong! I've been an insider member for 3 years and hands down the best club I ever joined. I went from a mediocre fisherman to a pro in less than a year learning from the courses and the community. I barely use live or frozen fish when you get the hang on casting and jigging the correct method. You so much money and time especially a guy like me who's a weekend warrior. On that dirt murky water the Gold Digger is a beast which is one of their lures.

The first thing I noticed about this reel is its weight kzbin.infoUgkxM68VkfsQhHaabDce1IwOCXuvumcpbZ_k . I wouldn't say it was uncomfortable but it was a little heavier than other similarly sized reels. However, that didn't deter my enjoyment of how smooth this reel is. I spooled it with 20lb. Tuf-Line XP and it's perfect for what I use it for. I have it paired with an 8'6" Medium/Fast Okuma SST Salmon/Steelhead rod. The combination is perfect for casting and even drifting. I used the reel all day and didn't experience any arm or hand fatigue except when fighting a few fish! The bail is solid and feels strong when engaging by reeling and manually closing the bail by hand. The large rubber handle grip is very comfortable. It's got a powerful drag, silky smooth reeling, and feels very comfortable in the hands. I recommend it!

We use them in the OBX , off piers- take a 3way swivel, and tie 2 leaders at different lengths,(say 12inches,and 2foot, and tie on the jigs. It looks like 1 is chasing the other- Blue,Spanish, trout can't resist it.

Love the videos sir! New sub and love watching your videos. I’m new to SW Florida so watching your videos are helping a lot. One question, I paired my Daiwa BG 4500 with the medium heavy 7’ offshore angler Gold cup rod, is it a good pairing for pier and surf fishing? Where else do you think it would go good?

Wtf! I try many different lures like 50 different kind of lures seem all don’t work for me. I have hard time to catch a fish. Only work for me live shrimp or worms too. Same thing I try find a bass freshwater or saltwaters. All those years! It’s so frustrated! Sometimes I went to Sebastian inlet or anywhere to under bridge.
