0 A.D. - Staying Alive While Fighting Seven Opponents

0 A.D. is my favorite game. It is a real-time strategy game and it is free and open source software. Today, I'm just having a little fun playing an 8-player free-for-all match, which will feature me and 7 very hard A.I. opponents. Let's see how this goes.

Have you seen Beyond All Reason (BAR)? It's supposed to be the best RTS out, and it's open source. Had its moment on Twitch too not too long ago.

It's fairly different... They have heroes with bonuses like aoeIII but it's more similar to aoeII I'd say. I prefer 0ad tbh they thought a lot of interesting things through, it's just not as smooth ATM as it has some multiplayer lag

I miss playing 0 A.D. as you said it's not easy for beginners. Those around me who play RTS tend to not want to play it. Warzone 2100 is also a great game, it is not as good visually. But it has its own thing with unit customization.

Warzone has improved greatly in terms of graphics over the years, if I'm not mistaken. It seems to me that there has been a lot of work done on improving the look of the game, along with the other aspects.
