After seeing it wheel in other videos, including on other channels, it doesn't appear that there's many places you couldn't get in it. So, I look forward to seeing the beast that it is to become.

Wait times are ridiculous on parts haha. I started redoing my xj in August last year and I'm hoping to be about done in September this year. My atlas t-case will be here August supposedly and that's the last big piece I'm waiting on then after that's installed I'll have to order drive shafts and I'm hoping to have everything about done when they get here. I ordered most everything at once when I started the build but plans changed and of course there's always things that come up or things to add but luckily I've been doing so much that I've always had something to do while waiting for parts and ive been taking my time with a lot of details. If you guys can I would try to get ahold of everything you think you'll need before starting that way your jeep isn't down for super long if you don't want it to be. Almost every company I've ordered from has taken much longer than they said they would. I think shocks/coilovers are about the worst right now, they told me 90 days and it took more than 6 months. Most of the places I order from I've done business with in the past and they've always been on time but everyone has taken significantly longer than they said they would this time. There's been a ton of stuff that's taken months longer than expected.
@GoatOffroad2 жыл бұрын
Luckily we already have a lot of the parts- except coil overs 😳 We will be ordering those this weekend. We aren’t changing our transfer case but I have heard horror stories about wait times. We’ll go with the flow and hopefully get most of it done so that we can get to the Jeep events we’re going to this year Wish us luck!!! 😂

really cool project, been here almost from the very beginning and loving it! yeah i agree the JK44s would be a waste of time. you guys did alot of mods and didnt video it apparently, i really dig the bumpstops, i used hockey pucks in the front on mine. so you dont have to sell me the front bumper, ive got a line on one from a guy here in Michigan and its going on my Comanche build im working on. you guys are awesome, loved the channel for ever, cant wait for this rebirth of the GOAT in 2022👍

You have been around for a long time!! Thank you for your continued support!!! In the summer of 2020 when we did Phase II it was done by a shop. So there are no videos. For this build we’ll be doing a lot of it ourselves (with help from a friend that I’ll introduce) So we’ll have lots of videos for you to see what we do. It won’t be How-To Videos, but you’ll be able to see it all happen!!!

Love your rig. I hope to get mine there soon. Do you have frame stiffeners? Nice to see you keeping the 242 transfer case alive. I have the same and love the full time. You don't see them that often!
@GoatOffroad2 жыл бұрын
Hey!!! Actually today we added frame stiffeners. Something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. We found a crack so it’s a good thing we’re doing it! And yes, keeping the 242. We thought about it but decided against changing it. Thank you for watching and commenting!! It means a lot! ❤️🐞

Hey Guys what was your break in procedure for you 4:88 gears. Having some installed soon but want to know the best procedure from people with experience. Thanks in advance.
@GoatOffroad2 жыл бұрын
For the 1st 500 miles you have to take it slow. Drive it everyday (because it’s 500 miles 😂) but short distances. Nothing fast and furious. Then after 500 miles, take it back into the shop. That’s about it 👍 We’re about to break in our new gears too once we get the one ton axles back from the shop. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@GoatOffroad2 жыл бұрын
Also, let the diff cool completely before you drive again. The goal is to not let them get too hot. No highway driving at all if possible. If you have to - only 60mph for no more than 20 minutes The initial First drive is 15-20 minutes. Then let diff cool completely. No towing or hard acceleration!!!! Hope this helps! Was a good reminder for us too 😊
