Sorry, but that is not the first English colored Tamagotchi available in the market. It was the Tamagotchi + and Tamagotchi iDLE, released by Bandai sa HK back then, saka here in PH eventually sa Toy Kingdom. Marami na din, as in a lot of other colored versions ever since 2009 or earlier, and year by year there is a new version. But they were not in English tho. I know this because member ako ng Tamagotchi collectors / sellers (international group).

@@sophiamari8117i know it’s late pero di na siya widely available, kasi not in production na siya, meron sa shopee pero 2nd hand and over priced and also not in english, japanese and korean versions nalang meron, mahirap na hanapin ung ON, the new tamagotchi UNI though is quite fun pero the quirk of the ON aka the gene pool mixing is unique and not available in the UNI, pero for me masaya padin ung UNI especially since may mga TamaVerse Tickets DLC siya.

I would always see this at Toy Kingdom as a kid and I wanted to have one so badly. At that time, gadgets were still developing and this was super popular and fun to have cause you had like a digital pet in your bag. So. Just to clear things up, I have one of these as well as the Tamagotchi M!X and about the whole “I thought it had no parents” thing. It had parents. You are not the tamagotchi’s parent. You are the caretaker. It’s parents are always at work so they need you to take care of their child. Just wanted to clear that bit of confusion up.

Oohh I got one for my sister for her birthday a few years ago and we both have taken turns obsessing over them every once in a while. They’re very fun. HERES A PRO TIP! if you need to pause it for a long time (say 3 days or something) use the app to connect your tama. It will be “on the app” but the toy itself will remain suspended until you either “bring it back” or cancel the entire thing as if the play date never happened. No info is lost on your toy and it remains paused for as long as the battery allows. I discovered it one time when the app crashed on me lmao
