I'm sorry for so many negative comments. I for one was curious to the very end about what you were making. I like how you demonstrated various details like adjustable feet and painting it. And it certainly is a need for miter or cutoff saws. You made it because you could! One day if I have the time I plan to modify sissor jacks for another purpose...

Great idea , good use of a spare Jack, perfect for kitchen fitting , cutting the plinths pelmets and corniche, buggers are always long and bendy and pieces of wood never work , cutting multiples lengths would be easy with that roller and the 4 feet fully adjustable, yeah a really useful tool , mine would be smaller and made of wood but that's because i can't weld, so thank you for giving me a way to help save me from struggling 👍👍👌

I love scissor Jack's I'm a mechanic and everyone else hates them but they are very portable and I use my battery impact gun to raise and lower it in seconds I've used them in construction to level frames with the impact gun to quickly raise and lower it I love this idea I'm pondering now making one side with with twist handle and the other with a nut welded on to hit it with the impact gun and have both options with that upgrade and ur build I think it would be awesome I have so many tools to bring to a job that I have to try to keep weight low so I try not to bring floor Jack's if possible and the its way quicker to raise a car with a scissor jack and an impact gun then even a rapid pump floor jack I do a lot of builds and I love this idea great job!

It would be much more useful if you take that thing you made and turn it into a car jack. If you get a flat tire or need to work on car from under it you can jack it up. And you can also use car jack for many other things like press or even use it to hold item up so you can cut them, you don't need a roller for that.

Why oh why do people think its fine to use an angle grinder without a guard, a lot of these people are Americans who don't even have a national health service, it took me forty five years and a tenth of a second to have mine, even though it had a guard it still severed two tendons and cut my hand to the bone, it took nearly six months in plaster and physiotherapy to get back to where I am now, three years on and it still hurts far more if I knock it than the other one. Guards are supplied for a very good reason so please stay safe.

@@victorrehuss226 the originals are incredibly unsturdy and take forever to get up and down so when ur on the side of the road it's a pain in the ass and if u break down on uneven ground ur screwed I've seen these Jack's make a car fall off the jack several times and do damage that's why most mechanics hate them but me as a mechanic like upgrading them and using an impact gun to raise and lower faster because it's still better then carrying a big jack with u and it's still light and portable but with those upgrades it's now much better much easier and u don't loose the portability of it and with the movable adjustable feet u don't have to worry about being on uneven ground and car falling off the jack u can just adjust whatever foot u need to make it sturdy this is actually a good build

It's just ok. It's not a cure for cancer. If I had to cut something long and it needed to be level at both ends, I would just put something to set the thing on. I guess I could go and make a roller but I would probably use poly urethane Skate wheels and a piece of pipe. Then just fix them all together some way. But seriously, pieces of wood (a set of dowels) would have been good enough. Sure hope he doesn't get a flat tire on the road. His jack was reincarnated
