I agree about not needing to blow up motors to learn how to tune. I began tuning on my own car and eventually almost a dozen others of my mates without a mishap. I just take my time and never push the limits unless everything is right.

Those fuel filters can be there for 200,000km. Ask me how I know hahaha

Would you like pops and bangs with that sir? Individual (or any) throttles that give zero vac. at 30% opening are too big for the unit. We aim for 70-75% throttle to equal 100 ish Kpa Solid advice guys, great to listen to.

But ITB engines like the RB26TT reach zero vac at throttle percentages in the high 30% range. Do you consider those throttle bodies too big? Not disagreeing...I genuinely want to know.

@@coollee303Under initial acceleration the engine will demand more air than the THROTTLE, at say 30% will flow, causing vacuume. Depending on turbo sizing, if the engine is working against a load, 30% torque demand would create enough energy to drive the turbo sufficiently to make positive pressure.
