01-07 Volvo Fog Light Assembly Replacement. Why did they make these out of plastic?!?!

This isn't a bad job, but it's a bit of a pain. I hope this video will help someone who is stuggling.

Great, I have a 2005, you're right these are very pricey yet defective. I did purchase duplicates not exact fit to replace with. The ones I had were not only brittle on the receptacle bulb, broken from road debris. The only thing stopping me is adapter or modification to the wiring for the substitute housings. I think I found new ones for $129 each.

It's a poor design for sure. This one was a used one, and it still cost nearly $80.

@@FarpointRestorationsAndRepairs I hear that, a similar one on a 2012 Lancer GT, expensive yet faulty. I bought some alternatives. I don't get it because others may be 30 or $40 for the pair yet these are so out of control on price. My 12 focus I think they are $35 for a pair of aftermarket factory fit. Thanks for the show.
