Not me I'm a long haul trucker, I usually just forge my way through all chained up. But unfortunately in California and Wyoming they like to flat out shut down the highway during inclement weather. So now I'm stuck parked in a mud pit here in Corning, CA with probably about 500+ other trucks around here. They better open the roads soon, otherwise trucks will be parking all over the freeway too, we're running out of room here, or I should say we are out of room here.

If they have any pregnancies or medical emergency type patients they should go stay in a motel close to the hospitals before the storm get there if they can. Makes life easier for everyone.. Smart if they already know they're going to need a hospital. If they have to travel s long ways to get to a hospital.
@mattmoschkau843 жыл бұрын
Sounds good, except then travelers can’t get off the roads and find places to stay. You’d be amazed at how quickly hotels fill up when bad weather strikes. People with health issues tend to have supplies at home to treat themselves better than they can travel with and if roads are impassable is a pregnant woman better off in a hotel than at home? In other words it sounds great but would offer no real advantage except making some people feel better.

We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." FRONT WHEEL DRIVE SUCK IN THE SNOW
@Aiijuin3 жыл бұрын
Actually... my parents had a Saab (front wheel drive) and a Chevy Chevelle station wagon rear-wheel drive in the 80s. The front wheel drive Saab was much, much better in snow than the rear wheel drive Chevy. The rear wheel drive car would fishtail everywhere in the snow and dig itself deeper into drifts. It wasn’t until they bought their 4x4 Bronco that we had the best snow traction though.

You REALLY don't know what you're babbling about, viewboy. EVERY motel room between Mt Shasta and Yreka will be gone FIFTEEN MINUTES after the freeway's shut down. And every available parking space that can HANDLE a truck and trailer will be filled just as quickly, with VERY FEW drivers getting motel rooms. Do you have ANY IDEA how much traffic I-5 north of Redding gets? I lived there for 10 years, and vacationed there another 25. It doesn't sound like you've even found the area on a frigging map, and you're passing out advice that can be DANGEROUS! PLEASE... keep your mouth shut!
@rivaoceanview42113 жыл бұрын
Don't agree. Pregnant women should be able to find a hotel near a hospital unless the hospitals are still using hotels and motels and such for employees to stay until the pandemic is over enough they can go home and not expose their families. If someone's 50 miles out in rural areas better to be safe than sorry and with the pandemic they probably can't find a friend or relative to quarentine for the rest of the duration of the pregnancy. As in if was my daughter or inlaw I'd loan then a room because I'd be too scared of them not having the hospital staff they needed when they're ready for the arrival of their baby.. maybe you don't have kids but I see that everyone needs that security and safety. And not everyone gets that..I didn't have that security once in my life and want any fun at all.. Nobody should have to be alone when they are in a crisis situation..
