@@Samuel-I Wow, you just brought an amazing memory back when I was 8 and my brother and mother were on the college tour circuit, looking for the ideal school for my brother to attend. They were in a 1965 Mustang and were barely able to stay on the road without slipping and sliding. They finally decided the heck with it and ended up pulling off the road and got the last motel room and they felt so lucky to be safe and off treacherous and neary impassible roads. At one point, they had passed a tanker truck that was fully on fire shortly before they found lodging. My brother and mother are now long gone, but any memory brought back of them is a positive one for me.

Do they ever close I-5?
@StormWarningMom3 жыл бұрын
Sometimes. They will in southern California if there's snow on what's known as the Grapevine. That's the mountain region that separates LA and the central valley.
@michaelsteinberg12673 жыл бұрын
They do in the Canyon, the stretch of I-5 between Dunsmuir to just north of Redding. They have gates at Fawndale road right before you head into the canyon via I-5 N (which is where they have it stopped now) and usually at Shasta city for people going south, but they stopped it near Yreka due to the blizzard conditions

The worst storm footage I've ever seen.

The best footage of one of thr worst storms?
@alitlweird3 жыл бұрын
I think it’s pretty good footage actually. It’s not all shaky like a lot of storm videos I’ve seen. Good editing. Good sound. Good narration. Good camera angles. He also included a lot of different scenes to show the scope of the storm. It might not be an award winning video but I’ve seen wayyy worse storm footage than this.
