What I really like about your approach is how encouraging you are at the beginning of each video. It really gives the students the courage to dive into and learn instead of walk away scared and frustrated. Thank you!

I am a Nigerian that sat for my Higher School Certificate Exams in 1975 in NIGERIA in Math, Physics and Chemistry and had been following your lectures in both differential equations, Exponential Series and Logarithms, indices and some of the Physics of Electrostatic forces, Ohms and Magnetic Induction Principles, Bohrs Theory, Quantum Mechanics et al. It really brought me back to my memories of yesterday years. As an avid student of Sciences (Physical), I followed all the principles you were teaching. Exactly what I learnt then, coming to fore. I am currently an Architect and a 65year old and the basis of my foundation in these core Science subjects paved way for me to understudy Architecture in my chosen University in NIGERIA. I am really happy that I am following these principles of these courses as you teach. Integral, differential, Trigonometry, Statistics with Probabilty equation formulations using Binomial Theorem. I also hope that you will cover aspects of Co-ordinated Geometry and Vectors as it is in Applied Mathematics during your course to help me refresh. Thank you for your methods.

Love your teaching approach! For someone who is having a huge problem understanding statistics, you are a godsend. You truly understand the difficulties we are facing and are able to break it down into parts that are easier to understand (e.g. even something as simple as trying to understand what the question is asking for can be difficult for me). Thank you very much, so please keep doing what you are doing!!

this guy is the best teacher for everything. really helped me out with circuits as well. for question about all permutations of 4 digit numbers above 3000; it was a lot harder for me to think about the fundamental counting principle than to just think (10,000-3000)/2

Zero factorial is equal to 1 not by definition but as a consequence of the meaning of n!, which is the number of ways that a set with n elements can be arranged. A set with Zero element can be arraged in only one way.

Hi., this is excellent teaching. But found a confusion in one of the problems from your examples of Permutation. The Radio station problem. I tried solving this problem using nPr method., but the final result number that I got was 31,200 which is different from 35,152. So here how i did: nPr = 2P1 x 26P3 = 2! x 26*25*24 = 31,200

40:20 I may have to disagree on this point that it is how it is defined; it was never defined this way that zero's factorial will be one but this was actually found to be true. Now evidently, something that was found does not insinuate a rigorous proof 🧾 why it is true because we found it to be true. Mathematicians have been able to pan out the pattern of factorials and that's how we know that its factorial is one. Check this: 1! = 1 2! = 2 3! = 6 4! = 24 5! = 120 etc Now 120÷5 = 24 which is 4! 24 ÷4 = 6 which is 3! 6 ÷ 3 = 2 which is 2! 2 ÷ 2 = 1 which is 1! 1 ÷ 1 = 1 which should be 0! That's how we know 0! = 1 Not defined and definitely not a voodoo magic ✨!
