020: HOW TO REMOVE AND REPLACE FRONT DOOR ACTUATORS GS300 GS400 GS430 [1/2]

Alright everyone the very first DIY in a while!! How to remove and replace front door actuators for your lexus gs300 gs400 gs430. I've been having this problem for years now and basically it's when you try to unlock the car and one of your doors doesn't open so you have to open the door from the inside! (Struggles, haha).
Anyways stick around for part 2 because rears are totally different as well! Make sure to please like comment and subscribe and if you have any questions or concerns, I am here for you guys!

I realize this was 3 years ago.., but I’m trying to do this install right now and I thought I had a pretty straight forward install! But when I go to lock the door, it feels stuck. Even if I try to lock it manually, it feels like it’s going to break something if I keep turning the key. Any idea where I went wrong??

I brought 4 from ebay and after 3 months .... 3 of the 4 stopped working. Can you please provide the link where you get yours from which of the eBay seller?

Move the door panel you were in the way of taking the clip out of the door handle on the inside. When you're doing these little detail task on KZbin you have to show that kind of stuff or else we're just going to be lost

How do you open these doors? I've that problem with passenger rear door and I don't know how can I open it?

Glad to be of value!! Did you end up fixing all your doors?

@@RidewithMark it was only one door acting up. The replacement went well and so did the test but once I put it all back together it started acting funky.

@@RidewithMark well, the little plastic piece on the rod that snaps into that little holder was broken. Before I fixed the actuator, I had it kind of taped into place so we could manually lock the door. I think that part came loose again so, I think I need to find a new (or unbroken) rod.

OMG, what unnecessary electrical functions. i use my fingers to lock from inside and key to unlock from outside.
