Many couldn't wish for a more thorough volume on a vessel that hasn't sailed the deeps in a very long time. Was always enthralled by how the instructional guides are able to divine small details like this when one reads about the buyer's complete ignorance evidenced, and the near predominance of skill that was at the disposal of shipwright and his many craftsmen that built these stunning vessels. Yes, really - there are a lot of photos in the books and each process is described in detail, how the author built the model ... The Sloops will be next Tuesday!

I have this set of books, and indeed, they are great. And Young America, a 3 volume set by the same author, is also excellent. If you are considering getting into scratch building larger ships, I cannot recommend them enough. However, Seawatch Books, the publisher, is in the process of being sold, and at the time of this writing, they are not currently accepting any orders. Hopefully, this shall be resolved soon.

Мне очень приятно, что вам нравятся мои видео обзоры! И да эта коллекция книг тоже есть, только без третьего тома. Дквид Анчерел сделал эту серию как практикум для своих учеников. По етому в третьем томе только фотографии работ его учеников и никаких советов и технологий... Я поставлю в очередь эти книги после речных Шлюпов и ещё одной книги о Виктори - у меня уже список собрался)))
