Love Zbrush, but still WAAAAAY to many steps to do something as simple as making a cylinder lol. Once they get those steps down the rest is amazing.

I think there might be a bug with symmetry unrelated to dynamics,. I'm not even using the cloth dynamics and I'm having all kinds of symmetry issues.

This technique would be awesome however for me when I hit cloth simulation to contract Nickz_human into my characrer the mouth cavity flips out and does wierd things even though my character hac mouth cavity too and I aligned them first. :/

Tbh, cloth simulation doesn't work so well for LP reprojection sadly - with anchor points...yeah, but atm its way easier and better to just use projectall

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but when I go to Gizmo to transpose the cloth doesn't collide. Is there some setting? Great stuff as usual!

make sure under the dynamic menu you have collision volume turned on (basically anything visible but unselected will be calculated into a collision volume with that button on)

@@MichaelPavlovich Yep works fine if i hit Run Simulation, but when in Gizmo, it doesn't interact with the col. vol.

@@ModelWhatYouSee The only thing I can think is to select the gizmo move, and just double check Brush > Elasticity > Simulation Iterations is set to 100 on it??

It rubs the topology on its skin, or else it gets the hose again

3dcoat way better and way easier and you can bake your meshes and do full pbr paint up. coat 2021 baby. i love you zb but you must start to see why w do what we do and start to streamline your workflows and make them much more relevant to tasks in production people must do on a reg basis. the zb interface even re worked customized is still a strange coral reef of complexity. focused interfaces that let you task with clarity and ease is what we need. not neat new features constantly added while ignoring the steps one needs to accomplish a given task. yes you can decimate and go but its a shit answer to a real problem to lower the bar like that so much to cut off the conversation. how about deliver the quality and make it easy too. thats why im moving more into coat than ever. their focus on work flow.....20+yr game artist here.
