This is one of the best updates since the Dynamics tools and ZModeler's slice functionality especially for hard surface modelling.. and this video pretty much nailed it (as usual with Pavlovich's videos) covering pretty much all aspects .. An invaluable tool to add to your hard surface as well as organic modeling without any doubt... P.S. Thanks god for Pixologic and Pavlovich. D

2:30 For those new to the brush or need a refresher, the sequence is: 1) Hold ctrl (or release it after you start drawing), 2) Draw the shape without letting go of the pen-to-tablet input (don't lift pen), 3) Then would you hold shift, 4) Only lift the pen after having pressed shift. No problem.

Whoops sorry about that - if you're using a tablet / cintiq -type input device, you ctr or ctr+shift "tap" by holding those modifier keys and just tapping with your pen on your device. If you're using a mouse, left mouse button will be your "tap"

I dont know if the zb updated the method, but now when I draw a new piece over the last one and hold shift, what it does is generating a new tool with the new shape, how can I have the same effect as you show in 2:36?

zintensity generally (over crank with brush - modifiers - strength multiplier). make sure you hold down ctrl while changing those parameters though.
