Guys, thank you for these videos! I'm so glad I found them because absolutely every shoe on the market turns awful for someone with flat feet in just a few months. The memory foam thing is probably the worst invention for people like us out there. I'm not an athlete, but yes, I feel way better when I take my shoes off than when I wear them. My hips finally get in place. From now on only flat shoes eventually with my regular thin insoles which add some arch.

Awesome Pod! Just wondering have you ever looked into indoor soccer shoes (futsal shoes) as a viable option for basketball instead? they are extremely low profile but not a zero drop shoe but have traction designed for the hardwood and are usually flat.

Whilst I took time away from basketball for the same few years that I grew into wearing barefoot shoes full time, when I came back to playing the game it was so hard to play in normal basketball shoes. I have been playing in zero drop for a while now and more recently five fingers and feel the best I have ever been; had to adjust my form a lot but I am never looking back.

I got patellar tendinitis in both knees and lately I noticed something interesting. Whenever I jumped barefoot, I would have pain in my knees. However, when I jumped with my basketball shoes and orthodontics (I’m flat footed) the pain was drastically reduced, almost zero. I’m guessing this is prolly bc I absorb less load with the shoes on. If shoes can decrease damage to your tendons and tissues I don’t see the problem with wearing them early on.
@nicholaswong5607
@nicholaswong5607 3 жыл бұрын
basketball shoes r made for that but it’s like using a crutch. you’ll continue to be weak in that area if u continue to use the crutch and you’ll still be prone to injury. now imagine how much less pain it’d be if you’d train with better shoes and only use basketball shoes when u have to
@dasianboi3984
@dasianboi3984 3 жыл бұрын
Your Intrensic foot muscles are probably asleep. That is why the force is going all to your knees because of the energy leakage. You aren’t ready for barefoot movement. But wearing shoes early on is detrimental to athletes because it makes them quad dominant. You can’t be athletic if your glutes aren’t active. You are also more prone to heel striking if you wear shoes too early. Your ankle and foot muscles, fascia, arches are all under active and your foot will be more floppy.

I don’t know if you’ll see this but I was watching this and thinking about basketball the whole time most shoes for our sport don’t subscribe to this but there was one shoe in my mind the whole time. *◄ Jonah 3 ►* 1And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying, 2Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. 3So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey. 4And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. *5So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.* 6For word came unto the king of Nineveh, *and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.* *7And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:* *8But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.* 9Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? *10And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.* *◄ 2 Chronicles 7 ►* 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall **humble* themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. *◄ Matthew 6 ►* 16Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 17But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; 18That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. *◄ Matthew 6 ►* 5And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11Give us this day our daily bread. 12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. *◄ Ephesians 6 ►* 10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. *12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.* 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: *◄ 2 Timothy 4 ►* 3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. *◄ 1 Timothy 4 ►* 1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. *◄ 2 Peter 3 ►* 3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. *◄ James 5 ►* 13Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. *The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.* 17Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. 19Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. *◄ Acts 15 ►* 19Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: 20But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood 29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well. *◄ Mark 12 ►* 29And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these *◄ John 3 ►* 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. *Virus Mania: How the Medical Industry Continually Invents Epidemics:* archive.org/details/virus-mania-how-the-medical-industry-continually-invents-epidemics/mode/2up *BÉCHAMP or PASTEUR? Cowan, Sally Fallon Morell:* www.pattoverascienza.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/The_Contagion-MITH_W.pdf In 1776, Dr. Benjamin Rush, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, foretold a grim scenario that has now taken shape right before our eyes. He said: *"Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution the time will come when medicine will organize itself into an undercover dictatorship. To restrict the art of healing to doctors and deny equal privileges to others will constitute the Bastille of medical science. All such laws are un-American and despotic.".* Now, after the year 2000, we are very much facing this reality, as we live in an era where our medical freedom is increasingly under attack, and "healing" has been replaced with "treating" ‘diseases’ with toxic chemicals and surgery. This drug-driven medical paradigm not only depends on the sacrifice and, some might say, torture, of animals in medical research, but also in many ways uses humans as sacrificial lambs.

We don't use foot muscles to perform a movement but to absorb the landing impact. Flat feet athletes still can jump and run very well because they developed low arches wearing sport shoes. But also they built strong leg muscles before arches collapsed. People born with flat feet can't really run or jump. I have a blog about flat feet in my Instagram as OlegBelousov
