Olli is too easily swayed by ANY idea thrown at him, and I've always felt this way about him. Christian is often seen as the bad guy because people love Olli and side with him, but I think Christian's opinions are always valid and provide perspective to their disagreements. I loved the talk with Christian & Olli in NL, and the passing back and forth of the leaflet and the sweet little kiss too, I liked that Christian came home all up for it in the end - lol - the women were funny, turning their noses up at everything - definitely not a good match for Chrolli

(tbc) now about Christian, he has always been the "strong" guy, altho he's a sweet guy as well (and we all know that), he is more into "let's think the things twice before meet a decision", that's why his reaction is totally right, he feels, like most of us do, that Olli always want to do the things "as soon as he can" or things that seems to be "silly" for him, and also cuz he doesn't want to get "too atached" will Lilly, cuz he also knows she will go away any day.

What I like of Chrolli is that is not the typical family we would see on a soap opera. I agree about Olli reactiong being too quick about everything related with Lilly, but it's not his fault, he's all excited for her, he loves her so much and he knows Lilly's father can come any day now and take her back with him, that's why I think Olli just wants to give Lilly everything he thinks is better for her before she leaves, he's that kind of sweet person, altho sometimes he's into too much (tbc)

maybe this is not such a intressting SL like many of us hope for, but nevertheless Jo and Thore (also Gabi, Paris,...) make the best out of this plot and it's so good to see them it was good, that their fight was not so big like the preview shows it for Olli is important, that he should first talk with Christian and C. should learn not be against all without thinking about it a positv thing about the new VL-style is, that the SL's are more in contact, the charakters aren't so isolated thx May

I've read comments on Chrolli vids from the past three years and I've come to understand that Olli can do no wrong and C is always the bad guy. I will never understand why, though. Olli, who jumps on every idea that is thrown at him without thinking, would drive me insane. He's far from being an angel, I seriously wonder why so many people paint him that way. (tbc.)

@MercuryMay01 I feel that Christian & Olli balance each other out, both have thier weak and strong traits, and they are often oposite strenghts to each other, in some cases this causes a bit of friction, eventually though, the two meet & understand each other. I cannot really find fault either with Olli or Christian per-say as no one is ever perfect, I love both charactors and it is great how the writers & jo & Thore have kept the charactors true to when we first see them together.

I read the comments, waited, finally watched. And quite enjoyed this.Charlie had some good lines. The musical mothers were a bit weird, as someone here says, but plausible. I feel the writers want to keep Chrolli sailing along on an even keel without angst or hysteria (= "drama"), but they probably feel the need to dream up interesting or amusing episodes for them from time to time. And this one was perfectly OK. (The Nico/Philip storyline by contrast looks ghastly, the acting dismal.)

Even if the writers are consciously having them play with stereotypes (as they did during the wedding with the whole business of having them alternate in the "bride" role), the scene still didn't ring true to me. I love both characters and was not really criticizing Christian, just noting that the scene seemed a bit awkwardly played.

@theflwer45641 I know this wasn't addressed to me but the rest of VL has Very dramatic SLs, it's nice to see the more relaxing but there were a lot of dodged problem potentials here. I do creative writing and I found about a dozen serious areas where this could have gone with a slightly different decision. After some of the other SLs calm down a little, then there may be a biggie or 2 for C-O-L and others. Also Drama for characters is not always so for viewers.

They just are and the labels float in the conversation. I am beginning to get it and I Like it!! They leave the labels for others to juggle. They just work at living.

@theflwer45641 To answer this question I'd have to start my own column, bc I could probably fill a book with what I'm thinking about Anthony's thoughts and about the wedding and baby SL, so all I say is: I can't remember a time when he ever liked anything about Chrolli, but he is right about some things and I completely disagree with others. With me being a huge Chrolli addict I'm obviously more inclined to disagree with him. We all have our own expectation, his and mine are just very different.

In the past I have left a few comments pointing out Olli's wrong behaviour in some situations (let's be honest Olli can be a jerk when he sticks to a silly idea no matter what- like the whole Rob story) and always got disagreeing replies. I like Olli too, but many times I have thought: awww, poor Christian.... and Christian can definitely be vigorous with me anytime he wants to... ;)

@theflwer45641 AfterElton thinks in American Soap standards. I agree that the writers are too scared to break Chrolli up, but there are a million other storylines they can do that are not about cheating or a break up and STILL be dramatic. The baby storyline is too "safe" for now, but that's because Chrolli are in the background anyway right now. When Lily's dad comes back to take her it's going to be more dramatic that any cheating ever, can you imagine anything worse than losing your child?

@theflwer45641 My feelings are that it is great to have a strong gay couple on TV. The story has stalled a bit I know, but I am patient to see what the new dramas will bring in the future. If you watch the entire storyline, as with DeRO, eventually something exciting will come up. This is not the first time Chrolli story has stalled, & when things picked up, they really did. It is just great to watch them now just being normal people going through life. Chrolli Forever.

Hmm...I don't appreciate the fact that Christian is suddenly turning Ollie's and Charlie's ideas for Lilly all the time. He needs to loosen up a bit...He's starting to look like the grumpy dad that never lets his kids do anything. The photoshoot and this were excellent ideas, and he just snapped over them. I wouldn't expect someone like Christian to be so judgmental of everything.
