hi Jimbo! I passed my driving test this week after watching your videos after being on L for more than a year. My weakness was not knowing procedures fully. Your driving lesson videos are just amazing and to the detail! You describe things so much in detail and cover every scenario that the person watching is absolutely clear on what he / she has to do when faced with that situation. I took driving lessons before from a local instructor of my community and I was surprised the number of things he did not tell me after watching your videos. While watching your videos, I made detailed notes on every situation I could face and how I would respond , especially intersections, head checks, lane changing, left slip lanes, traffic signals. I went to your channel, went to the videos section and watched all the videos from the 1st video you posted 2 years back. And every video had important things to learn! After that I went for my test this week and you know what? I passed. I literally cried. Now, this was no coincidence. In this driving test, for the very first time I was confident before going for the test as I knew all rules very clearly! I wish I had a driving instructor like you from the very beginning, I would not have been on L for so long. I have been driving for almost 20 years otherwise on a manual car before coming to Australia but did not know the right procedures, as traffic situations here are very peculiar (for example round abouts, taking right without green arrow, etc.) thank you Jimbo! :) You are doing a great service to car learners! You have been one important factor in passing this test. thank you :)!

I have an overseas license. I failed at the first go and I am going for the test again. If I pass this time, will I get the full license or would I be put through the usual P1 license ? I have been driving in India for last 20 years and I did everything correctly on my first go. The only reason I failed was I was driving too slowly. I have been driving at a speed of 30s and 40s in the 60 zone.
