Paul, I think your squids appreciate and look forward to these longer in detailed videos. I don't even personally use much social media anymore aside from KZbin because I appreciate longer content that's in depth. Some of us are here to learn, please keep up the hard work professor! Thank you for the hard work

PJ, I think your most helpful posts are more motor skill related vs S&C. It's nice to be able to visually rehearse a movement by watching an expert, especially when there's new areas of focus or new constraints that manipulate the way the skill is performed. S&C stuff tends to be more dependent on programming and less "plug -n-play' in my opinion. It is definitely helpful to find new strength exercises that emulate a particular feeling or position, but I think if you can get similar things to happen in a more open/performance-like environment that seems to be a bit more optimal.

Ben talking about the ultra-high intensity workouts nearly giving him a panic attack. I've almost experienced that multiple times with my HIT training. I would have to walk around the gym for 30 minutes, limping, with the most agonizing pain with constant 180+ HR that won't seem to decline. It doesn't feel that bad until you stop running. I developed a fear of true HIT training since then lol. Just thinking about it raises my heart rate dramatically now 2 years later. Finally someone I can relate to.

Pau, Paul, Paul .. absolutely love your podcasts and work/posts man. Never change. You, Kelly Starrett ("The Ready State"), and Andrew Huberman ("Huberman Lab") are basically law to me and my health. If you ever had either one of them on your podcast, I'd go NUTS hahaha

Love the podcasts diving into different topics with other qualified trainers. You and Chris Barnard at Overtime Athletes are my favorite. It’d be awesome if you got him on the podcast and bounce ideas off eachother. Seen all your videos and done Vert Code Bodyweight and Speed Code. Working through all Chris’s content now just learning a ton and implementing into my own workouts. Def seeing them gains!

Great podcast, I'd love to hear you talk more about pre-teen strength training, skills, and conditioning. I've been a grass roots development coach for 5 years now and would love hear your take on how to best prepare these kids to have longevity in their passion/career, and to unlock their potential

"I like seeing the full sets. That's just how I learn." Human movement is complex, and the time constraints w/ TikTok and Instagram require reduction and/or high creativity... You might not be able to see the peanut butter and jelly looking from the outside, but when you take a bite, you know the integrity of the sandwich... I think providing the right "bite" per audience is the difficult part with social media. But seems like many coaches with an online presence rely on stealing everyone's attention with glam, hype, and misinformation...

With long-form/blogs you have to think, digest, and reform your ideas. With Instagram you think about what text to use and when to make the subtitles appear

question for Paul and Ben. Is there a benefit to doing more than 1 knee-quad dominant compound lift in the same session? Ex: rear foot elevated split squat + knee dominant trap bar deadlift Ex: Goblet Squat + Leg Press I imagine doing more than one in a session would be overkill? I’m asking from the perspective of an athlete who wants to be stronger & more athletic. Not so much from the perspective of hypertrophic gains.

Never seen a trainer post one rest period or a full night's sleep lol. Grinding hard looks sexy. Adaptations that garner athletic success are boring... plain and simple
