Thank you for this detailed video. Just one heads-up: The glider AND grappling hook an already be made with the workbench. You do NOT need the blacksmith for that. Just make sure you have the material you need and you can easily make it 😃

Being used to valheilm building, the building in this game is kinda confusing as it looks like it's going to work like in valheilm, but doesn't at all. I got super confused as to what block was the foundation and then when I tried to place something instead I got an achievement for mining the ground ... Then I tried to cover up the hole but I did so with a giant rock block and while trying to remove that I ended up digging a big hole

The FOV is subjective, and I would have left it off, as it works in hand with your screen resolution. You have a 5k resolution so it makes sense that you could benefit from a higher field of view.

Help me understand something. In revelwood, you acquire things to make and use copper. The next armor set from rising fighter set requires copper and linen. Requirement for spindle to make linen is fossilized bone from kindlewaste enemies, which requires level 5 flame and is last biome in early access from what I understand... Am I missing something? Or am i supposed to keep rising fighter set until that late? Also, are there any weapons you can craft with copper? Seems a lot of effort to go for a slightly improved felling and pickaxe ..

Sooo how did u come out the cave with a full set of weapons/action bar??? Can u just craft without a workbench? Is there one in the cave? I don't understand why people who make guides always skip the little things like that. U talk about What can be crafted, but not how you just crafted a full set before leaving that cave??? thanks for the guide very helpful. Having hard time finding info on how the '' multiplayer works'' I undertand we can make our own servers but what about progression with paid server or servers that I create with local safe. Does everybody gets their own chance to progress in story and do we have our own base and character progression or like palword where share base and limited by it ? ( i know you have your own progression there however base is limited to 1st chracter created) ty in advance

With Local save (Solo or Multiplayer) the world saves on your computer, with a server like GPortal, it saves on their servers In other words like explained in the beginning, you can ONLY play with friends on your device if its running, but with GPortal services you can have it up 24/7. The world and its loot will most likely refresh if you restart the server ^^

Do you need fov at max whit a 21x9 monitor? Edit: If i get a server from gportal, can i play on it whit my friends only? whiout having to worry about other players messing around?

Yes! You can make a password and lock it from the rest of the world, very simple to set up

Automatically locally, it might give minor rollbacks if you force quit or crash the game so be sure to do it properly ^^

Played 2 hours and after that the game cant even be launched any more. Refunded after waiting a week for a fix but nothing so far. Always the error "crash minidump" right at the start. There are still to many bugs in it. And yeah the combat is very very lame. I ll try palworld now even if i hate pokemon. There must be something good if its so hyped

Items, chest and trees etc. do respawn, takes some time, but that's part of the game. I think just exiting and entering the game to instantly respawn items etc. ruins the game. Then again you're only ruining the game for yourself, so who cares =P Nice video btw. got some good tips that i hadn't thought about. But i think you should let people explore the world on their own, and not show key locations. A tip to you would be to at least start the video saying that it may contain spoilers.

Great to hear! Yes I agree I went kinda 'here it is' in this guide, but its only a fraction of the game and I wanted people to utilize the most of what the game has to over, not miss any strategies for efficiently doing different things in the game ^^

this game is so great but the combat is pretty boring, one button for attacking is lame, really hope they can add some depth soon, this game has a lot of potential

I was actually wondering the same thing but actually you can parry and you’re supposed to have multiple weapons (melee and ranged) (blunt and pierce) to fight and it makes the combat actually prettt engaging rather than just press one button. This game is honestly closer to Minecraft than valheim imo. There’s also that big ass skill tree too and it’ll change the way you play once you start unlocking some skills.

That's your own fault. The game is clearly made to play with multiple weapons and tools. I'm constantly swapping between sword, axe and wand seamlessly. You can only blame yourself if you just clicking.

It comes with the server tools on steam. Go to your games and click on tools in your library it'll be right below it. Free server that'll run 24/7 even when you're offline just keep the PC on

Thanks for the video. I knew nothing about the tab button and seeing how you can build large foundations on the floor. I had been using the small Bricks and spent 6 hours placing them all around my base floor.

Hey, thank you for a really great guide. Awesome work, it must've taken some time to create the video. ...................... I have just reached the place that you show in the video at 4:45. But I can't leave it! I have read the book I was able to do it by running in the outer rim as far from the thing in the middle as possible, and I was able to gather some stuff around the area to the left in front of the entrance to the mine. But the game keeps moving me back to the thing at the square. - I've also clicked 'I' and looked through every tab, including everything under the Journal tab. I have tried "pin"-ing everything (by clicking 'F'), and I have Waypoint-ed the place where I'm headed to create my first base (I did this while I was still inside the building where you start out before going down the stairway to the square), but the Journal still has these 'blinking' prompts. I'm stuck! The game won't let me leave the square, and the purple message remains activated. ... I honestly don't know how to proceed, I really need some advice. I will really appreciate it if somebody can help with some advice! ... Thanks in advance. 😊
