FR500s for sure. I replaced stock exhaust on my Bullitt with MBRP cat back system. It sounds somewhere in between these two.

We've got twins! I have #0890. I'm enjoying your build as I'm in the process of building mine as well. I've got the Ford Racing Adjustable Handling Pack with the K springs so it sits perfect just like yours. I have also installed the FR500S mufflers and they are my favorite mod so far. They really wake up the car. The rest of the exhaust is stock. I recently purchased some Hooker Blackheart headers to install in the spring along with the Ford Performance Hot Rod Cams. I'll probably do it right and get the timing kit as well. My car has about 90k on it as it sits. Unfortunately I live up here in Wisconsin so the car is tucked away for winter. Georgia is looking good these days :) You've got a new fan. Keep up the great videos.

Heck yeah! Those hot rods sound really good, and honestly make good power with long tubes. It’s always cool to meet fellow Bullitt owners. I recommend Brenspeed for the tune unless you have plans to get it dyno tuned!

I like that you set the camera far away during the revs. I hate when people put the mic a couple feet from the car. Mic clips and you can't hear shit lol.

Omg that sounds soo good man I love your car and I have 1 question do you absolutely have to pull up the motor a little bit in order to install headers on the bullit because I have a 3v and I want to know if u have to pick up the motor a little to put headers on it love the car man 👍🏽

I don’t believe I had to lift the engine, but I did have access to a hydraulic lift. Also it depends on which headers you chose.

My dad had the 2008 mustang bullit and was going to hand it down to me but sadly he crashed into a deer with it I'm 17 now and he had that car since I was 8 years old, it was black and had 2 small red stripes on each side and he had a silver ar bullet necklace dangling down from the mirror in his mustang bullitt and he had red trimming on the inside where his doors and stuff were, crazy story when my dad had this mustang bullit my mom and dad had divorced and i spent the night with him at his house and he took me home in the mustang bullit the night later so it was dark out and he was driving me home in the mustang bullit and this dude in a truck started following us so my dad went really fast and he pulled up to one of his friends house and banged on the door and his friend came out with a AR and i seen brass knuckles on this dudes table I was peaking out the windows and the dude pulled up and he had a AR pointed at him and my dad was on the phone with the cops and his friend shot his AR up in there air and the cops said shots fired and my dad said that his friend was just shooting the gun up in the air well 5 cops came and it turns out the dude that was following us was drunk and he got arrested you could see the police lights bouncing off the tress and it acutely too like 3 or 4 mins for the dude to pull up he was speeding at my dad for some reason, my dad was taking me home from his house so it was from jasper alabama to lynn alabama and we take high way 5 to get to jasper to lynn

Stock mufflers or similar variants with a free flow exhaust system are good for anything. Too bad your exhaust wasn’t stock to show the difference between a stock muffler and the FR500S. I for 1 vote no drone but no that’s me. Thanks for the video.

When the exhaust was stock with just the FR500s, there was no drone. It sounded very good.

So how is the stock mufflers with cat delete? My back pressure suffers terribly and wondering if a tune will help the fr500 or should i switch back stock.

Explain what you mean by “my back pressure suffers terribly”? I’m not sure it’s possible to have exhaust that flows freely enough to cause issues in these cars, especially if you’re going all the way to the rear bumper with pipes.

If you’re concerned about popping while decelerating, that’s just unburnt fuel being ignited by the headers, which is normal. Stock mufflers will prevent this by increasing back pressure and reducing HP.

When i floor it theres a long delay before acceleration hits...its cause of lost back pressureflow.

That sounds like a throttle body issue or something tune related. I highly doubt it has anything to do with your catback exhaust selection.

Sadly I do not believe they are made anymore. I bought the car back in 2017 with them already installed.

I like both. Would be great to be able to switch between the two. The Ford racing ones are pretty obnoxious for the neighbors, but would be great on the road. Then again, I'm a boomer. 😆
