Hi Richard ,See you zipped by me at about 45.00. I have been meaning to stop and say hi but you know how it goes at these events .I remember my son and I used to see a lot of you back in the day when we were both running Sherco SEF's .(mine was a 300).I kind of quit once the boy stopped going and moved to road bikes ,but its a unreal draw back to this sport and I'm loving being back in amongst it .I'll stop for a yak next time .Keep up the good work on the vids they are a great debrief .Cheers Paul

Great ride. Managed 2 laps plus the last enduro section. Slick & slippery.

Came off at 39.24 real bad. Still not sure exactly what happened. Went over the bars landed on my right leg then rolled, smashed my helmet visor, bruised leg, knee, elbow and ribs and had a visual migraine on the way home and headache for couple of days! Head more or less ok now but ribs still bothering me. Got huge bruise on my right hip/leg. Glad I had all my gear on. It was a very slippery day.

Hey there Mark, bugger and it was reasonably steep there so a bit of a long fall when your going over the bars, sounds like your body took a good beating, ribs will take awhile to come right. I bet your avoiding laughing, coughing and sneezing. Yes it was a slippery day, I'd say there would've been quite a few riders hitting the ground. The first ride I did here I hit a rock on the side of the track landed on the bars with my ribs, they hurt for a good couple of months. Also if your helmet has hit the ground hard it really needs to be replaced as the polystyrene foam inner shell will have compressed and wont be as good at absorbing an impact the next time it hits anything in that area. Good luck and take it easy give your body time to heal.
