I just realized something. Achilles, who Pyrrha is based off of, died via arrow. Thor, who Nora is based off of, dies via snake, so she could possibly be killed by a King Taijitsu. Mulan, who Ren is based off of, commits suicide, so maybe Ren commits suicide after Nora dies. and last, but most certainly not least, we have Juane, who is based off of Joan of Arc. Seeing as Joan got burned to death on a stake, something similar will happen to him, most likely from Cinder herself. Team JNPR was fucked the moment this show began.

Pyrrha's death was planned by Monty Oum, so he probably had planned how she would die and etc. I'd be genuinely shocked if they killed off a main character on RWBY. Yeah, Pyrrha was a re-occurring character, but she was never really a 'main' character, much as I loved her.

As much as I love the show, I'm starting to question if it's smart or just slow... It's never a good sign when the OST gives more character development and plot than the show itself. Hell, we get more info from ONE of these songs than we ever do from a single episode. Sad, really.

With the exception of MAYBE Red Like Roses part 2, (though the keen eyed will notice the grave in the Red Trailer had the name "Summer Rose" on it and combined with Ruby's name as well as the line in her trailer "place you rest" as well as neither sister mentioning a mother in present tense you could figure it out) we don't really get a lot of insight, for instance, "We're not 'together'-together", Ren already knowing about the "recurring dream" at the lunch table, ALL of Volume 1 episode 4, the tree sap she had Ren fill a jar of at least twice, her voice when Ren was tossed by the deathstalker, she literally has two sub-states to her perpetual hyperactiveness, Smash and ensure proximity to Ren, the songs just highlight the subtext that may be missed

Michael Halpern The thing, is that's all interpretation. There's only one or two lines in the show that clearly imply that sort of duality, and even then it's implication. I'm going to repeat, JD, RWBY is slow. It's been two seasons and we still don't even have a hint as to what Cinder's goals are. I love the world, but they're taking their sweet time doing anything. It doesn't help the finale of this season was so underwhelming.

Legonater It is smart that we don't now what her goals are, if we knew what her goals were, we could predict every move she will take, and not knowing provides suspense, we know that she justifies the means with the ends or just doesn't care what she has to do to accomplish her goals, she planned to cause mass hysteria during the tournament, and we got potential hints in the World of Remnant episodes, her true goals should wait until team RWBY confronts her, then the episode should end as a cliffhangar, that way we have a week to ponder how evil she is and if there is someone higher than her.

Michael Halpern Except it isn't suspenseful. With most villains you get hints as to what their plan is, and you usually have a general idea of what they're after. With Cinder we have none of that. We just cut to her every once and a while doing X vague mysterious thing that's presumably evil. There comes a point where the mystery stops being mysterious and just becomes boring. In the finale we're told that the Grimm attack came ahead of schedule, which Cinder is worried about... but then shrugs it off because apparently it's all a part of the plan anyways. I'm sorry, what? Cinder's plan at this point seems to be a bunch of random action strung together with the reason of 'vague evilness!' You can't keep up a mystery like that for over two seasons, it doesn't hold up.

Character development and understanding it is all about interpretation, for instance, name a time when they are sitting, that Nora and Ren are NOT sitting next to each other? The finally may have been lacking in combat, but not in suspense, especially not with the post credits scene, the bad-guys considered the events while not totally ideal, a success, and so did the protagonists, which is indicative of a completely different kind of threat, a less obvious, yet much more sinister threat, If anything it says that the train was only ever going to be a distraction, a destabilizing factor, something of little importance other than to make it easier to execute her plans

I didnt know Monty that well, I will be honest I never exactly followed Rooster Teeth until after his death...However I will say that he was an amazing animator and story maker. He was badass with everything he did, from the story straight down to the simple comments in the show. He had a dream and he made it come true, with the help of his gorgeous voice actors, Arryn, Lindsay, Barbara, and Kara. As well as with his brilliant producers and developers. And of course we cant forget Miles Luna and his goofy team as well. Monty is gone in his physical form, yes. However he has become Dust, the life-force and power and energy of the world. He lives on forever in our hearts, I wish I got to know him more before he passed, he was brilliant, funny, amazing, and a good man. To Rooster Teeth, you are an amazing company as well, my one wish right now really is to meet at least someone from the RWBY show team, or anyone from Rooster Teeth in that matter. R.I.P. Mont, and live on through spirit.

+Avid Lepidopterist I watched a video called what is love, and from what I remember, the video states that love can grow just by looking at eachother in the eyes. From what I heard the movie Twilight (which is part of the meme Still a better love story than Twilight, that you attempted to make before you got assassinated by ???) has tons of staring into the eyes. So even though Twilight may not be good story wise, it may actually be accurate. Still that's just my opinion from someone who has not seen or read Twilight.

I'm pretty skeptic of this, solely because it says "love", as I'm sure if I, or anyone else were to do this with anyone else (within reason), some affection is likely to be felt. However, the idea that doing this would be enough to found a long term relationship between two random people seems more than far fetched, as very little is actually revealed in the questions, and living with someone, even briefly, gives a much better indication of whether or not two people could function alongside one another, which is the essential difference between love and infatuation. In the case of Twilight, the vampire and chick who smiles like - _ - were both melodramatic assholes that sucked at emoting themselves, and thus were made for each other. So even though the love story sucked, it kinda makes sense when you think about it. (no hate, just my two cents)

So, RWBY volume 2 soundtrack is getting darker, save for Dreams Come True (Jaune x Pyrrha Build Up), Shine ( Jaune x Pyrrah Conclusion), Caffeine (Rap song about Team CFVY) and now, surprisingly, Boop (Nora x Ren?) This is kinda surprising because Nora says they're just friends, Ren seems to just be somewhat ignorant of her, but maybe Volume 3 or Season 2 (which ever they call next) will be focus on Nora trying to get Ren, like how Volume 2 is Pyrrha getting Jaune

A Feeling That Lasts [A fanfic] The silence of the forest was broken by the sound of swords clashing and guns firing. One of Salem's shadow slaves had ambushed them, and things weren't looking good. "Pyrrha, stop! It's us!" yelled Nora, but it was no use. The slave may have resembled Pyrrha, but that's where the similarities end. It was only an image of her, nothing more, but Salem had used that very image against them. Jaune, who tried talking to the soulless vessel, had now been injured, slammed into the tree by the sheer force of the enemy at hand. With no sense of mercy, the slave prepared to propel a spear straight towards Nora. She pulled her arm back, getting ready to aim, but at the very moment she threw, Ren jumped right in front of her. "REN, NO!" With his chest stabbed straight through, he mustered all the strength he had left to shoot the slave in the head.The enemy had finally disappeared, and so did the spear, but the damage had already been done. Bleeding severely, Ren slammed into the ground, his right hand over his blood-soaked clothes. "Ren, I'm so sorry" said a watery-eyed Nora, holding Ren in both of her arms. "Hey, don't worry" Ren replied, "You were always the stronger one Nora, always". He coughed blood, staining his clothes even more. Nora knew he was in pain, but he kept on smiling for her. "Ruby needs you, Jaune needs you". ( 0:00 - 0:46 of Boop plays, but just an instrumental piano version) "But what about me? I need you Ren". She continued, "Ever since I was a kid, I had no one. I had no parents, no siblings to care for me, no one to laugh with, no one to share stories with. But you were there, you were always there. You were the one I could always count on. The one I could look up to when I felt like all hope was gone. The only reason I was so happy all this time was because you were there for me". Tears began rolling down Nora's cheeks now, slowly dripping onto Ren's clothes. Ren, with a smile still on his face, told her "Be strong Nora, promise me that. Be strong, for the team, for yourself, for me. Your strength is what kept me going, so don't ever let go of the strength you have right here". He placed his finger over Nora's chest, where her heart is. "I can't believe I've been so blind Ren" Nora said. "I love you, so much" With tears now flooding down from her face, Ren stared one final time into Nora's eyes, gathered his remaining strength, and with his dying breath, he poked her nose and softly whispered into her ear, "Boop" With that last smile on his face, he closed his eyes. He had gone to sleep, one that he'll never wake up from ever again. Nora embraced his body, sadness and despair filled her heart which had been ripped apart. She whispered to herself, tears on her cheeks still, "I'll make Salem pay Ren. Even if it risks my life, I will, I promise"
