07 Chevy HHR POWER STEERING

Start with basics that's power steering fluid but in this case these cars don't use that. Second basic are the fuses, that in my case I had two that where busted but for your steering wheel will be the Fuse #1..

REMEMBER THE HHR ARE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING FUSE # 1 IS YELLOW 6O AMPS ALSO CHECK ✔️ THE RED WIRE NEXT TO THE FUSE BOX COULD BE LOOSE

after watching another video from a 2009 hhr "ez fix" it could be just a loose screw right next to the fuse box

looks like she has about 224k , mine is like 180 and it is like in and out, sometimes feels hard and sometimes not. check a 1:36 in the video you can get a glimpse I paused it took a snapshot but it don't let me post here.

What caused the blown fuse? Fuses don’t just go bad by their self

Sometimes if the car gets jumped or jumps another car it can cause the fuse to blow.

my daughter has a 2007 HHR and her power steering has issues every now and then, where it fails & she did replace the fuses and it was ok after that, but now it stops every now and then. so did this work for you? changing the fuse? I read someone kept changing the resivour but kept giving out like 3 times.
