Big shoutout to Valerie, making those long livestreams so interesting and fun to watch. This is by no means the most professional stream on the net( audio cutting out, puzzles not shown automatically), but it is obvious that she enjoys to be there and talk about puzzles. That goes for all the co-hosts and guests as well, you can feel that everybody loves what they are doing. Big diffence to streams where everyone behind the mike is payed to sit there and talk. ❤

what a mess. half of the judges didn't know about the rule that 2 puzzles needed to be on top of the table. I saw judges putting the 3rd puzzle on the floor.

I find the commentary so frenetic that I am just enjoying watching with the mute on. It would be nice to have commentators who are focused on the puzzling that the viewers are seeing on the screen, and talking only about the teams, where they are from and helping viewers to decipher what we are looking at. I do not enjoy the interviews - that is a different (not live) broadcast focus. Maybe I was spoiled by the olympic commentators?? They were so professional, educating the audience about the sport and the players, and focused on the actual event in real time.

this commentary is similar to commentaries on marathons. interviews in the middle of waiting for someone to cross the finish line.

I love the commentary. It's so much fun to watch and learn amd also get interviews too. Very well rounded experience to me

There's only so much you can say about what's happening. These puzzles were hard and relatively slow. There was lots of discussion about puzzle choice at the beginning and Sarah relayed what those choices were for the first 10 tables. Team events also aren't strategized the same way because it's much more team member dependent regarding roles based on puzzle preferences/skillset.

I think it's Valerie. She won't stop talking and she competes with others to make sure she can talk. She talks over other people A LOT. I don't mind when she leaves and others take over.

contestants should not be allowed to wear; political shirts

I doubt you’d comment if it was a maga shirt…

@@joeyotten2091 , You are sooooo twisted with that -- unbelievable. - How do you even know if this person knows anything about "maga." GET A GRIP! - This commentor is RIGHT. Some of us are just fed up (no matter the political lean) -- tired of politics being served up as a side to EVERYTHING. The topic here was puzzling, PERIOD.

@@aphetrerryac3603 lol yah ok….new rule…only puzzle shirts allowed….get a grip…one dude in a Kamala shirt gets panties in a bunch. Pfft.
@Scott_MКүн бұрын
@@aphetrerryac3603totally agree - it’s a complete joke how politics now comes into everything and every event. Some of us are sick fed up of having politics shoved in our faces at every opportunity. Such a sad state the world has got itself into.

Watch the other languages then. They have had a variety of countries they talk to that happen to speak English....

It's an english language Lifestream so they speak English with their guests. They had so many international guests through the days and on this day as well.
