Waves and wind are picking up across the St. Petersburg, Florida area this afternoon as tropical storm Debby moves closer. Waves can be seen breaking over the sea wall and the pier in Downtown St. Petersburg. Conditions will continue to deteriorate throughout the day. A tropical storm warning remains in effect for the area.

Still love it hear...thank goodness for flood insurance. Lived in PR for 7 years and went through some massive hurricanes & even Orlando (lived 20 years) and got hit in Windermere with bad storms. Just glad I am not living on my sailboat out here, lol.

flew in from Poland 2 days ago and just finished moving from my condo into a SFH in SPB and garage completely flooded. Hope doesn't reach 5" to the door. And this is with a tarpe up side of garage door with 25 bags of sand.
