Oh Ian, that's a brilliant idea with famous Dave and videos on the build of the cottage that I would defo watch, and with you as a special guest 😂 it would be hilarious. I love your banter and the naughty bits 😜 xx oh and ouch the price of that hose, you both have to invest in a machine to make them 👍 great video as usual 💯👌

Ian, I feel Dave could have got another inch or two space if he'd turned the steering wheel right hand down a bit and opened the gap between the two halves of the machine. The company I worked for had their own hose fitting crimper, as tunneling machines have miles of Hydraulic pipe and thousands of fittings. Plus a breakdown costs a bomb with standing labour and on demand arrival of materials with nowhere to put them on tight sites. When fitting a replacement line we'd run a spare as well, just like fan belts on JCBs to save splitting the hyd. pump drive connection. That cottage looked like a forester type build up around Cinderford, on cottage had a room in the loft held in place by the stairs. Sounds like you had a good day out did you get the valve.?????

I’ve got my eyes on a ratcheting flare nut wrench, and a ratcheting crescent wrench, just for situations like these. Just waiting for the money to buy.

Put a wear sleeve around the new hose where it rubs .Add a spot of grease between thenew hose and the wear sleeve

Pretec are very expensive don't ever call them out to fix a hydraulic hose it'll cost twice what Dave paid we used to use them then we bought are own kit and made up our own saved a fair bit of money

Marque ? He’s received a few gifts through the channel Dave, a T shirt, some tools and a couple of other bits and bobs, all of which I have passed on, I’m not sure what you are referring to though?
