@@Dilley_G45 I agree that this is likely the best channel with a focus on the battles that are ongoing in Ukraine. If someone asked me for one channel to learn of the battle lines day by day, I'd recommend this channel without even really considering others. Even so, I don't blame Denys for less focused videos, because longer, less focused videos can be good as well, depending on what you're seeking. Denys goes into other things like other countries sending weaponry, loss of power stations, strikes on Russian bases, predictions about the longer-term future, and more. I'm not saying that his videos are better because of that. Definitely, this channel, as far as I know, gives the best overview of exactly what is happening on the battlefield. And I feel these videos will also be extremely useful to future historians (if the remain available). If I want the facts on the ground, I watch videos here. But other channels may veer into questions like "Is Russia likely to use nukes?" and things like that, so I can't really fault them for having longer videos.

LITTLE-KNOWN FACTS ABOUT PUTIN. Nothing personal, just facts. I was pretty tired of this war and decided to sort it out... In 2013, before a coup d'etat took place in Ukraine, Putin asked the then President of Ukraine, Yanukovych, not to use force against protesters.. In 2014, when the Ukrainian army was encircled in the Donbas, Putin called on the separatists to release the AFU soldiers from the "cauldron" and exchange prisoners. In 2014, realizing that the conflict could escalate into a fratricidal war, Putin proposed a plan to resolve the crisis in Ukraine "Minsk 1". The peace initiatives assumed the cessation of offensives by all armed formations in the Donbas, the withdrawal of all troops to a safe distance from populated areas, international control over the observance of the ceasefire, the refusal of Ukraine to use military aviation against civilians, the exchange of prisoners under the "all for all" scheme, as well as the opening of humanitarian corridors. In 2015, Putin actively supported the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier who proposed a special procedure for the entry into force of the law on the special status of Donbass, provided for by the Minsk agreements. In 2015, in order to resolve the crisis in Ukraine as soon as possible, Putin proposed to sign the Minsk 2 supplementary agreement, where the obligations of the parties to the conflict were spelled out in more detail. In 2017, Putin proposed to deploy a UN mission on the contact line in the Donbas to ensure the safety of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission staff. Later, Putin did not rule out that such a mission could be located throughout the conflict, but with the consent of the proclaimed republics of Donbass. (!!!) On December 15, 2021, Putin warns NATO against unleashing a war and offers to discuss with the United States the draft treaty on security guarantees and an agreement on measures to ensure the security of Russia and NATO countries. But his initiative is ignored. At the beginning of 2022, Ukraine is concentrating 170 thousand troops on the border of Donbass, and in mid-February begins artillery preparation for the offensive. Putin understands that it will not be possible to avoid war, decides to counterattack. At the same time, Putin forbids the military to shoot at civilian objects and, if possible, at industrial infrastructure, which greatly hinders the progress of the military. It is obvious that Putin had no plans to seize Ukraine. If he wanted to, he could have done it in 2014, when there was a favorable environment. This is confirmed by all military analysts and in particular Angela Merkel: «The Minsk agreements of 2014 were an attempt to give Ukraine time. They used this time to become stronger. As we could observe during the fighting in the Debaltseve area in 2015, Russia could have easily won then. And I very much doubt that NATO countries could have done as much then as they are doing now to help Ukraine». All the world's media deliberately mislead us by inventing sophisticated stories about bad Russians and heroic deeds of Ukrainians…But not a single fact about Russia's alleged atrocities against civilians has been proven. By the way, the tragedy in the city of Bucha is a dramatization of the special services of Ukraine before the visit of high-ranking officials from the EU. When the world finds out the truth, it will be too late. Look at what is happening with your country's economy... And this is just the beginning of a great catastrophe. Understand, Putin will not stop. During the 22 years of his rule, Putin has not made a single geopolitical mistake, and the Russian economy, as noted by leading world analysts, has achieved outstanding results, even despite unprecedented sanctions. P.S.It is obvious that Putin did everything possible to avoid this war...But who really needed an escalation. Guess who?

Even if we assume a fantasy land where there are an unlimited supply of manpower by the Russians, the fact that they're losing supplies at such a high rate means that any further ability to attack or reinforce the region will be impossible. This is 2022, zombie rushes don't work like they (barely) did in World War 2, especially not in the TikTok Generation. And the failure of the "Convoy of Doom" from February/March reiterates that fact.

It sadly depends on if they can replentish supplies and if they can solve Ukraine's modus operandi and counter all of this. I am slightly tired of hearing Russia is getting out of supplies while it seems obvious both Russia and NATO are struggling to supply the troops they support by what they need. Sure all still seems going into Ukraine's favor, but i feel we better hope it stays like that.

There isn't going to be a Russian breakthrough, anywhere. Not in the near future, anyway - they simply don't have the capacity for that kind of advance. It is possible they will be make steady incremental gains which could conceivably lead to the fall of Bakhmut in the end, but it would take at least a couple of weeks and probably much longer. Meanwhere, the Ukrainians have a strategic reserve somewhere, resting and training after Kherson. It will strike when the time is right. (My guess is early/mid-January, depending on the weather.)

I did too, but its not just "some" general. The name of the guy in thumbnail is Gen. Valerii Zaluzhnyi. Check out his bio on wikipedia. He has some impressive credentials and will be a great credit to Ukraine both in this war and the rebuilding after it is over.

very optimistic view... reports from Ukrainian side are that the situation around bakhum today is very crtical. It apears that the UKR do not get it under control, for what ever reason.

The Ukrainians may loose land, but due to the artillery duels of both countries, those villages they(russians) claim are like useless ruins and markings on a map. This is Verdun.. once again. History never repeats but it rhymes.

I hope at some point you will tell us about yourself. Your tactical analysis is extraordinarily well informed and astute. You also speak English with a vocabulary and structure that puts the majority of Americans to shame. We'd love to know more when it is safe and convenient to do so.

@@qman8816 Who knows? One thing to note. Watch the propagandists. Watch their behaviour. Now they are talking about war... not just a SMO. SMO is a local thing. Attacking Ukraine was a local thing. War extends past borders. Ckme January look for the phrase 'patriots war' or 'patriotic war.' *I think Russia will start to attack NATO next year - February or March. This scares me because I genuinely think Russia will lose. The Polish are being held on a leash right now but believe me they want to tear Moscow apart. I'm actually worried that Russia is going to tear itself apart as a result and that is going to bring much bigger problems than the chief RusNazi, Putin.

Y he aquí por qué.

I can't see the russians being upto dealing with complex situations like this, as in differant units working together or having faith that you will get some back up. the other concern is how much decent kit like night vision, communications and drones do they have? Since Lysychansk around 6 months ago i'm not sure russia has made a significant gain anywhere.

@@marluxia8832 i think Russia could of easily resolved this anxiety with diplomacy and pure good will, they could of invaded with goodwill, seeds, solar panels, free oil and they would of won over Ukraine enough for them not to look west and it would of worked out 90% cheaper to russias economy plus hundreds of thousands of lives and homes saved from devastation. Also the 'nazi' accusation is hollow, the west is into liberalism which is really the opposite of nazism and we are talking raging liberalism, everyone is a victim here, we are all bonkers about our rights and every orientation is embraced. I think this is totalitarianism v liberalism being fought in Ukraine, the king of the north v the king of the south, something sinister is going on, both are becoming more diametrically opposed.
