I also have a 2008 XC-70, and the windshield washer fluid leaks out shortly after filling it up. Probably the same issue. Thanks for the video.

I bought a used 08 xc70 same color as yours and was putting in washer fluid and it was coming out pretty fast from the general area you just showed.... thank you for your video sir

Have you had any issues with your radio? Like half the speakers barely work? I’m thinking it’s the amp but just checking if anyone else had this issue

I have not had any radio issues. Electronics on Volvos I find very challenging to diagnose ! So much is tied to proprietary software.

I have a leak underneath too. S40N 2006 though and tank on passenger side behind the side panel and under filling cap in top left corner at the windshield. My washer fluid "pool" is in the front of the wheel near the bumper. So my guessing that my leak is around the power washer for the headlights. It's only leak when it's really freezing cold outside though. And does not happen often. Doesn't leak super much as I know. But there is a little pool.

You didn’t mention, but looking back this repair that you made, could that have been done without removing the bumper?

I don't think able to fix with the bumper on... But good question. I had to remove the bumber to diagnose the leak source. I'm not sure if there is enough room to disconnect / replace washer hose and connector, but you should have enough video to at least get under and check for yourself , and know what items have accessibility, or not... Also, may be able to remove headlamp washer device to access, but not sure ...

Is it possible to plug off the line to headlights thereby bypassing the headlights altogether?

I believe you can. Just get a tight plug in end of each line at the "Y" connection point., Lines or maybe at tank exit point. As I remember, there is a separate line up to windshield and rear hatch. Not sure if you can reach the bottom of tank to plug the lines there without removing tank. Good luck.
