It speaks to my Soul and has has effected be very deeply, like no other song. at some level it haunts me...always going through my mind...I just happened upon this song and play it almost all the time. My friends and I were fortunate enough to get tickets for their Walking Into Clarksdale Tour 1998. They performed two shows back to back at the Palace of Auburn HIlls, Mi. We went to the second show and were completely blown away!!! Jimmy Page was absoulutlely brilliant, in my opionion, his best guitar performance since the days of Led Zeppelin. In seems near impossible that so much sound can come from just one guitar!

It doesn't matter if he uses an alternate tuning or standard pitch, if his guitar is not in tune with everyone else it is out of tune. In this case his guitar is out of tune. Page is my all time favorite, I have studied his work for over 20 years. I agree with you, he is brilliant and there's nobody like him. This is an excellent solo and Page is not stupid, he knows it is out of tune. That's why after this song he put number one up and finished the Bizarre fest with another guitar.

I am 17 years old and Jimmy Page was my greatest influence as a guitar player up untill about a year ago. I love Jimmy and he paved the way for many later guitarists. Check out warren haynes and derek trucks if you want to see some incredible playing. Page is legendary but there are others that Have truely incredible technical skill and feel. But without page we wouldn't have the same musicians we have today.
