When Page faced Michael Lee in the beginning of the song it was Jimmy saying you are a Rock n Roll Drummer.....never saw him do that except with Bonham.....Page and Plant knew that Michael Lee on drums brought Zepp back from the dead after Bonzo's passing.....
@MikeLike8 Жыл бұрын
Walter… interesting observation! I saw Michael twice, once with Plant Page and as Thin Lizzy’s drummer. Both times demonstrating he is of the top guys around at a young age. Taken from us far too early on his 30’s…. At home alone on a Saturday he experienced an epileptic fit and lost his life. RIP Michael Lee ! Never forgotten 🌈

Michael Lee was the only drummer that could keep with Jimmy's guitar playing, & keep up with Robert's Plant's vocals!! Except John Bonham. Of course!!! ❤❤❤😂😅🎉😊

Man this is absolutely killer!!!!!! Being a total Zep fanatic for 35 years now I think this is just as good as their 70s heyday. And as a drummer I can honestly say that Bonzos spirit passed on to Michael Lee here.Killer drumming.The only weakness here is the bass playing......it certainly aint Jonesy but still pretty good!!!!!!!

Man, Page and Plant. The things those two together have really separated themselves from the greats. While people can argue there are better singers and guitarists, these two together accomplished so many things in song writing and chemistry that very rarely happens. These two gave us poetry through music that this world will never forget! Oh and JPJ and Bonzo were gods too!

This is tight. When they were bad, they were awful, live aid and the A.R.M.S concert. But when they were on the ball and not getting equipment fuckups and what not, man they were mighty. Granted 2 of the members are missing here, but these other guys are holding their own. Its just really, really tight IMO.
