In this 8K video of Switzerland, we present the highlights of a detoxifying hike in the pristine nature starting from a scenic spot of Rosenlaui (924 m/ 3031 ft; a smallest town in Switzerland) to the summit of Grosse Scheidegg mountain pass. This mountain pass is located in the Bernese Oberland region and crosses the col between the Schwarzhorn and the Wetterhorn mountains at an elevation of 1962 m/ 6437 ft. This pass connects the town of Meiringen (595 m/ 1952 ft), with the village of Grindelwald (1034 m/ 3392 ft). The road is closed to most traffic, but is used by a PostBus Switzerland service from Grindelwald to the summit of the pass, with some buses continuing to Meiringen. One needs to pay extra fare to use this special mountain bus service.
During the hike, we pass through Gletscherschlucht, and Schawarzwaldalp before enjoying the majestical views of Reichenbachtal and Grindelwald alpine valleys from the summit of Grosse Scheidegg. This hike presents a purely detoxifying ambience with the pristine nature, majestical mountainous background, and natural sounds of flowing rivers, glacial flows and waterfalls assimilated with the soothing sounds of Cowbells.

LOVED the opening shot! in 2006 I was looking for a back way to sneak into Grindelwald, came around a corner and was presented with the same vista. Of course, I had to stop and get off my motorcycle to take a few pics. This is still one of the most stunning scenes that I have ever seen. A group of riding friends have noticed that we all seem to take the same pics from about the same vantage points and angles. I have seen this view of the Grosse Scheidegg a number of times. I just checked and that point shows in Google Maps & Earth as the Gschwandtenmaad Viewpoint. Not as remote as I once thought, obviously. 😁

Hello , I will coming from Meiringen. If I drop at Gschwandtenmaad and walk until Schwarzwaldalp . How much time would it take (I know it depends on speed and how much time do I rest , click picture etc..but I am asking gross time on an average)? I am staying in Interlaken for 6 nights so dont want to walk upto Grindelwald as I will do multiple hikes there

Did you check the hiking time on direction boards? Much information is there and you can add some extra time as per your pace and ability with hiking on such terrain.
